everything from the 80s is shit
Spader played so many yuppie corporate dickheads in the 80s I'm surprised he didn't play Burke in Aliens.

An obvious one.
The best opening scene doable.

Greatest moment in australian cinema, along with Dennis Hopper drunk and armed.
The best Cannon film ever, undeniable proof that their methods worked and that they indeed had class.
80s Spader is a fashion hero of mine.
>What are some good but obscure movies from the 80's and early 90's?
Heh, recently re-saw this 80's teen comedy, and it was actually good (for the genre), hot chicks (prime Lori Loughlin and Kelly Preston), a funny sidestory with Fred Ward delivering, and obviously a cheesy ending.
Sorry, this is the best cannon film of all time although it's from 1992.

You should check him out in a movie called The New Kids.
He's the bad guy, and at one point the good guy breaks into his bedroom and gags him with a sock and threatens his life.

Nearly true. I lived through the 1980s. The best part of the 1980s was the fact that you had to go to the movie theater to watch new movies instead of pirating them. VHS rentals were suspect because the store employees always took the new movies out before customers when they were released. That is IF the movie reached your town on VHS at all. You were subject to the whims of the manager for what movies they brought in.
Time is the only thing that obscures the past. Some are pretty obvious and not obscure really.

James Spader was a good looking dude, and even today is a phenomenal actor. Probably one of the best cases of an actor losing his looks but still being good enough to stay relevant.

Somehow I missed labeling this as "K•I•N•O".
