Its just average scifi movie. Why cant they just make a movie Force Unleashed adaptation? Its a simple, good story and it could be packed with crazy CGI fights from start to finish. They even have low cost actor ready.

While i agree that Tarkin looks better, he does have some issues as well - mainly a bit too many facial animations that are unnecessary - just small twitches and what not.
The reason why Leia looks weirder is because Tarkin's actor was already old in the original trilogy. But we saw Carrie get old and fat so the image of her youth was no longer fresh in our minds. Plus she looks a bit too pristine in Rogue One - she had more imperfections in reality and those were not added.
But in any case, the technology evolves very rapidly and will improve soon, no doubt. But i would prefer if they left alone actors and characters who died.
