the people kept being too retarded for me to enjoy the movie. they kept fucking pointing their guns at the monsters but NEVER FUCKING SHOT, this happens throughout the entire movie. there was absolutely no tension because the weapons are so powerful a single shot kills almost everything, no reason to be afraid when a single trigger pull defeats everyone.

Editors force authors to drag shit out to sell more magazines. If you're not immensely popular, your Editor basically has final say over how you work the story, if they say drag shit out for 30 more chapters, the authors haven't got much choice.

Anything animated for adults in west fails.

Disney is a huge company and they will be the market leader which dictates what a cartoon should be and shouldn't be in the west.

For hundred years, they've said animated cartoon = kids. Therefore the west must abide by this rule.

It was better than I expected. I even got back to reading the manga. What a piece of shit that was. I don't think I've read a manga with worse pacing than Gantz. And the ending was so dumb. What the fuck happened to the vampires subplot? No explanation on the whole psychics and it's like he completely forgot about Katou and his whole massacre.

Similar to the movie, except Muscle Rider traded blows with Nurahiyon until Nura decided to snap Rider's neck. Nurahiyon tells them it's pointless to fight against fate and stay there since he's going after Oka guy. They hide the wounded Tokyo team and Kato becomes the bait. Kato runs after the gravity gun the last minute then there's explosions and Nurahiyon arrives with Oka's head. Kato delays Nurahiyon by asking him a question. Remaining Tokyo team snipes the fuck out of Nurahiyon and Nurahiyon lasers the fuck out of everyone, killing Osaka Milf and decapitating Kato, Nishi arrives with the Gantz bike to distract it long enough for Kato to get the Gravity Gun.

Nurahiyon charges his laser on Kato and is about to fire when fucking Host Vampire appears out of nowhere and slashes Nurahiyon in half and Kato lands the killing blow. Virgin Otaku promises Kato that he'll revive Osakan milf for him because he's inspired by Kato's bravery.

Pervert Teacher and the sluts from Osaka chooses freedom at the end.

Psychic Sensei also tries to stop Nurahiyon from moving but he explodes in the process.

Terrible adaption, beautiful CGI action flick.

This, I basically expected 10 fps shitty CGI ragdolls.
It was good

But transformers sells because it's not about the robot/human relationship, it's about moving to the next action scene. They've gone through multiple 'main characters' and they've all sucked. This gantz movie doesn't get away with it either because it's a butchered arc from a manga where you're missing characters and core character growth/information.

1:1 ratio of manga:anime. It's filler and a waste of time, sometimes they add dialog that's not in the manga to pad the episodes out. So a fight sequence that could be 5minutes top (1 chapter) with some trash talking and fighting turns into 20 minutes of trash talking, panning and REACTION FACE. Then there's freezer tier 'time management', which is worse still.

The argument is more about 'do we go to filler? Costing us planning time to make it fit and work' or 'Do we just pad the ever living fuck out of it because we're 20 chapters/episodes until caught up'. Not even DB kai fixed all the padding issues.
