The link between atheism and intelligence can be represented with a bell curve. Intelligence is on the X axis.
On the left side we have the retards who seek God because they are incapable of explaining the world around them without th existence of a deity.
In the middle we have the arrogant pseudointellectual atheists who believe humans are capable of explaining everything through science.
On the right we have the intelligent self-aware people who realise that humans don't really know much at all. They realise that consciousness is certainly never going to have a scientific explanation. The person on the right does not believe in God, but does not disbelieve either. They are agnostic.

How do you define real? Try to cross a border without paperwork and see how real a nation is. Try to march your German army into Poland and see how real it is.

Humans create real things from real concepts. Those things are as real as the sun, as the ocean. You might as well say cars aren't real, they're just something humans came up with and welded together and ride about in. Whether you think they SHOULD be real is different. Claiming they're not real because you wish they weren't real is just ridiculous.
