Not even Paris is too crowded if you choose the right time. Visit during winter and you'll just walt into the Louvre instead of waiting 1h during summers
These are just a couple examples but truly not everywhere is doomed. Paris alone accounts for a huuuge part of all tourism in France, along with places like the Côte d'Azur it drains a fuck ton of tourists. And they're good places to visit, but being the most popular doesn't mean they are the only ones worth seeing

And it depends what you like to do as well, it's pretty diverse. Don't go to the north if you like nature. Don't go to the Med coast if you don't like tourists. Don't go to Brittany if grey weather makes you depressed. Etc

I like cloudy weather, and old towns desu. My interests are mostly vidya I don't need to have a lot of outdoor activities. Having a nice walkable surrounding with old architecture would be ideal though.

I can't think of a single place in France that doesn't have at least a couple muslim families, even in small villages....

Btw people see brown or vaguely foreign looking people in France and they assume they're all Algerians/arabs. This is just not true. I can only speak for Marseille as far as big cities go, but here there are people of literally every nationality and race. Still a lot of maghrebi Muslims though I have to admit. But among recent immigrants there are also slavs, asians, Armenians, latinos... More than one would assume.

I've been to god forsaken towns in deep Lozère, Bourgogne or Pyrenees that are 100% free of non-whites, but at around 100 people they are free of anything of note anyway so that doesn't count very much

I'm getiing a scholarship to go to France next year for 6 months to do an intership as a spanish teacher, as well as to become completel.
