This thread is for the discussion of the language, culture, travel, daily life, etc. of Japan. Let's tark at randam in Japanese and English. Take it easy!
As a gaijins learning japanese, how do you choose your name in Kanji?
I paid a guy to write my name in Kanji and it was >那維 It looks like he just used my Katakana name and found whatever kanji.

>I paid a guy to write my name in Kanji

It was a calligraphy course, I did when i was in Japan for vacation. It was pretty cool being able to to use a brush and write in Kanji instead of using a pencil.
As for that situation, it resembles the situation of Japan.. However, the anime culture can not survive without fan fiction. The Japanese subcultures are going to die from suffocation now. 久美子ちゃんの脚も色っぽいよな ってMAGAの帽子が ジブリ最盛期のアニメで何度も観ているよ 娘が幼かった頃は、よく一緒に観たな what your name in English? please write your name
> be me getting my dick sucked by a japanese girl in college > tell her to suck it harder > she doesn't understand > get lousy bj > the next day I read this raw of a hentai manga of a guy getting his dicked sucked > in the manga he tells her to suck it harder in japanese > the next time she sucks my dick I tell her "もっと吸って" > It worked and she actually sucks it harder! > I cum buckets who new ero manga would actually be useful in real life

Are they really that selective though? I've known Japanese high schoolers at relatively strict, upper level ones that are none too bright.

Sorry, I feel really uncomfortable using my real name on Sup Forums... since it's a pretty unique name because there is 2 ways to pronounce my name.
Tea or Thai.

we can not use spoiler in Sup Forums I think your name is pronounced ゼ or ザイ in Japanese I think about kanjis pronounced ザイ:座位/坐位/座維/坐維/座伊/坐伊・・・坐惟 I recommend 坐威 It means "Sitting dignity"
>ザイ ザイ is not the way you pronounce it in english. It is a Vietnamese name, so it's closer to the pronunciation of >Thi or Thai depending on how the speaker decides to pronounce the name.
Nolan Watson
Obviously Asian since it's Australian post

Yes, They is usually a girl's name in Vietnam. Tho, some boy have it too. Weird unisex name.
I watch "魔法使いの嫁(The Ancient Magus' Bride)" now. When this program is over, I will sleep. This anime is awesome I see Your name is pronounced ティ or ティー in Japanese The pronunciation of ティ is near to チ I recommend 知維 It means "Know the dimension" kanji.jitenon.jp/cat/search.php?getdata=ち&search=match&search2=twin 春の京都においで 日本の象徴だよ
>it gets boring with the same image every time true i'll see what i can do

>維 On its own means fiber, rope or tie according to jisho.org. Wouldn't my name be closer to Wisdom rope?
Kayden Garcia
if it is Vietnamese maybe it already has Chinese characters for it, like hvdic.thivien.net/hv/từ and then you could work from that
知維:Know the dimension. I thought it was a good name.
ちい 茅衣 ちい 幸衣 ちい 千以 ちい 千依 ちい 千意 ちい 千衣 ちい 知依 ちい 智以 ちい 智伊 ちい 智衣 ちい 智郁 name.causality.jp/search/ちい/ The above names are really the names used for Japanese girls .You choose the favorite name.

>Vietnamese Since it's a Vietnamese name, a Chữ Nôm character should exist for it, so you could theoretically use that instead We'd need the proper spelling with proper tone marks first I found 「施」which is also used in Japanese The problem here is whether you want to have the "correct" character or you want people to actually pronounce your name
施 has an on'yomi of セ、シ so the pronunciation won't match
And since ティ is not native to Japanese, you can't get that pronunciation using Kanji because no such Kanji exists As the others have said, ち is the closest you can get
