GDP measurements a shit

Let's say a foreign company sets up shop in your country producing some shitty tiny part for cars assembled abroad; it pays the workers average or maybe even above or double that. It exports those parts to a car producing company abroad and makes profits certainly AT LEAST double than it would have in the original country of origin. The value of those parts at export price will enter the GDP measurement, the bigger the price the bigger its reflection in it. Has the capital of the company increased? Yes. Has the living standard of the workers increased? Maybe, depending on how much they get paid. Is that equally reflected in the same proportion as to what the above was in the GDP measurement? No, not really.

So next time, have that in mind when you enter the regular GDP dick-measuring contests.
