Don't mistake being shocked at your height for insecurity. It's very, very rare to meet somebody noticeably taller than yourself, so it feels extremely weird. As you said, manlets are just used to it.

The height changes by region, in the south people tend to be very tall, like men 180+ and woman 170+, were I was born the average for men is like 165 so my 170 is slightly above average. Despite that I've only once met a girl that refused me because of my height, that may be because of my face with makes my size seem less relevant or because I usually don't hit up girls 175+ ( there are barely any here this tall that aren't land walles of butterfaces) but most likely a combination of both.

Here in the southeast they get to 184 some to 190 but not "easily", most of them are between 175 and 180 and in the northeast between 170 and 175. What I'm pointing out is that despite men getting way bigger than me woman rarely go over 175 and the ones that do are mostly land wales.
