Is south american engineering reliable?

People liked Gurgel, even though they used many VW parts.

...

dont know where the cars are assembled but i know dartz headquarters are here.
they make ugly armored cars.

Some like INVAP, Embraer, etc are god tier

Edgy design desu.

it's like a whole world of cars we never get to experience

...

It looks like a plastic Volkswagen 181 with bigger wheels.

I drove a Lada 125. The car is very noisy. Even for an eighties car. I like to listen to music while driving but in noisy car like this it's just not possible to enjoy your ride.

It's practically a VW under. so...

coming through lads

My only problem with the cars that were made here is that their designs are fucking horrible. Gurgel, Agrale and other smaller ones made some fugly cars. The only cars that actually looked good were the Puma, Santa Matilde and the SP2.

He just mentioned a few engineering and high tech firms tho. There's no huge south american car manufacturer. There are a few small firms that manufacture stuff like bikes and niche cars, but you won't find a lot of local brands
We had like 2 or 3 local brands, but they didn't survive past the 60s I think

Canada doesn't really make cars of our own. New Brunswick did try to once. In 1976 they produced the Bricklin SafetyVehicle-1. It was meant to be a very safe and affordable sports car, but the safety features made it too heavy to perform well. They were bankrupt in less than 2 years.
Only came in 4 highly visible colours, had an integrated roll cafe, and had no ashtray or lighter (smoking and driving isn't safe). It did have the first ever standard button operated gull-wing doors and is rumoured to be the inspiration for the Delorean.
The very few that remain have a large cult following. I have only ever seen one, at a museum, and it was later damaged in a flood.

I know, the GTE isn't much cool tho, but it's a good platform to modify and throw all types of engines.

The GTB tho.

I unironically like hummers. You could hit a herd of moose in 1m of snow and drive away unhurt.
Did you know they were Arnold Schwarzenegger's idea?

Oh baby.
