It's a less hectic place and the ramen is probably the best I've come across. Check on google street view of a place called Yamada,Kutchan. It's the best place buddy

I've been to both shikoku and hokkaido, the former has some really cool nature and places to see but hokkaido is tranquil as fuck and super comfy.
