Tell me about Massachusetts

Tell me about Massachusetts.

How is it compared to northern Europe, France or Europe in general?

Nowhere in America compares to Europe unless you want an isolated suburban life.

How much does a suburban american spend commuting daily on average ?

idk. For me, every two weeks of gas is like 25$.

I don't live there, but I have visited twice and spent weeks each time.
Lots of liberals, dykes and fags, niggers, and wiggers. There are historical areas that have been preserved as closely to their original 18th century status as possible, but those areas are just tourist traps.
There -could- be little towns, with cobblestone streets, peaceful little dockside bars, but I didn't encounter them.

OWWWW
MASSACHUSSETTS

It doesn't. Mass. is the smartest state though. Maine/Vermont/Washington State are closer to Europe than anything else in the US.

That's just the cities. Outside of the populated areas there's lots of very comfy, very traditional towns. Hell, The town I grew up in is still 99% white. The architecture is beautiful too.

Well, damn. Shame I couldn't have gotten to see that.

Should be nuked off the map.

>average
I'm sure that could be googled, but the range itself is huge. Some people probably have very nice setups, with short commutes, others have insane commutes. Imagine 2 hours in the morning and 1.5 - 2 hours in the evening. Which would be around 12 hours of commuting a week.

Dont forget cute little New Hampshire too. Driving from Montreal to Woodstock is my favorite drive ever.

>2h in the morning
wtf

I could live in my family house deep in the countryside and commute to work everyday in that meantime.

That's not even the worst, my boss used to drive 3.5 hours in the morning and 3 in the evening. That was fucking insane

But his commute was over 100 miles thru heavy traffic areas, which is probably like 150km+.

Meanwhile my company has locations near commuter train stations both in Denver and the SF Bay, so if I were to live in walking distance to any station on the same line I'd have a super easy commute.

I mean I'm already bummed when I have to commute 1h in a comfytrain from my gf's place to my workplace so I couldn't imagine driving every day for hours.

it's like Rhode Island but worse

I live in Braintree Massachusetts AMA

If not for Boston, Mass would be pretty ok. It feels like a European colony (like Maine, my home).

Boston is a wannabe euro city.

>tfw drive a Mustang GT
>v8 engine is a gas guzzler
>putting gas in my car every couple of days

so much it's pathetic

My university is 5 minutes away. I live really close to all the stores and food places I'll need.
My job is 10 minutes away.

Git gud or move somewhere else.

im talking about people making a 60 mile round trip everyday.

Wow Italian is such a beautiful language.

That's Albanian.

It’s a pretty nice place, there are a lot of good universities and job opportunities. However, I’d still prefer to live in Maine or New Hampshire.

Im from Massachusetts
