>I'm going to make $1500 this weekend.
things are getting better
How pls
>be neet
>apply for a government job at a whim
>somehow get it
>make a shit tonne of money compared to the responsibilities and experience i have
>have to work on the remembrance day long weekend
>government is giving us our base salaries * 2.5 each day this long weekend
i finally understand why so many people voted for trudeau
What job did you get making $25/hr as a government leech from being a NEET? I need to get on that shit.
Telecommunications systems.
I help take care of stuff like government owned DMS-100s.
You should really get into it user, I think demand will skyrocket in the next few years because a lot of the old guard are set to retire soon. I'm on a team of 12 people, and the second youngest person on this team is 21 years older than me.
Wow I make $17/hr and am cucked in many ways beyond just the low pay. I need to get on this.
Do you have a degree or a lot of experience? How was the interview process?
>Do you have a degree or a lot of experience?
Degree. I had zero experience.
I went to a university out west and my graduating class had 10 people.
Also look for scholarships, the government and telecom companies like Telus and Rogers are just desperate to get some fresh blood into the system.
>How was the interview process?
Pretty easy actually.
They asked for a scan of my degree, an unofficial university transcript, and some references which I emailed to them. I used my university professors as references. The people in this industry are so old and tight knit there's a good chance the guy interviewing you served in Korea with one of your professors.
Then I was called in for an interview. I was interviewed by the manager, he asked me some basic personality questions like "how do you perform under pressure?", "how do you perform on a team?" stuff like that. Then he asked me interpret some really basic CS2K CLI commands and he asked me some basic SS7 questions too.
A few days later they called me to negotiate my salary.
in all honesty the interview i had when i applied to a dell warehouse was more difficult.
Damn I have no degree(considering going tho).
My current job is decent I guess for now but definitely little room to move up. How cucked is it to start university at 22? Im in Ontario btw
>How cucked is it to start university at 22?
It's actually pretty young for this.
I think my class had an average age of 30
why are all the canadians getting jobs
gonna go to bed and hope i don't have another nightmare although it'll probably happen since i get those every night
You are getting more jobs than us. US unemployment at records low.
Unemployment rate for people without highschool degrees is 5.7%...
>i'm living the same day over and over
Fricken suck and believe you. Have fun with your limbo.
Wait no that's wrong but still very low
goodnight user
i'm just saying every canadian that posted here now has a job
huh?
Because we don't want to be losers like you maybe
thats mean
But true
>all of the canadians who post in this general hate their jobs and miss their time as a neet
really makes me thing
Yea I totally miss having no money, parents being angry at me for being a neet, being bored all the time and going nowhere.
Being a NEET fucking sucks unless you start a business or are rich or have enough willpower and interest to actually study all day or something. Wagecucking is shit but it's 1000x better than neeting.
also this
Not that
yes that
This time last year I was playing skyrim non-stop
That sounds boring and unsustainable.
