It's pitiful if you honestly can't name a single famous African outside of white people

It really is pitiful there aren't more black Africans worth mentioning.

Mugabe, Bokassa, Idi Amin, Mandela, Savimbi.

Etoo, Drogba

>i have to bring up fake people or non-Africans
I always find it funny that you lot shit on American education yet can't name a single important African

Haile Selassie dammit

So what about pharoahs of Egypt such as; Tutankhamen, Cleopatra, Narmer, Ramses.
Carthaginians, such as Dido or Hannibal.
Those are just some, I don't know much African history personally, but I know there are lots from the Mali empire, Moroccan history, Zimbabwe/South Africa, Ethiopia, etc.

Don't be such a bigot, we're all equally African, there is no African "race".

>pharoahs
I thought we were talking about black Africans?

You migjt be right but the point of being famous is that people remember them, which you can't

>we're all equally African
So you were born in Africa, or contributed to the overall history or culture of a African country in a way that did not harm the native inhabitants.

Great-grandpa of Pushkin

Africans are Africans, it doesn't matter their skin color.

People earlier in the thread were just posting Europeans that did shit to Africa.

"Native"? Sounds awfully bigoted to me sweetie.

Djimon Hounsou is a great actor, never seen him in a role I didn't like.
