Tribalism is the sum total of all moral law. You can't consider all the world equally and try to help everyone, it simply isn't possible. Even if you had the resources to try, different groups have conflicting interests. Many cultures and religions have not just a desire but an /obligation/ to dominate the world and wipe out all other ways of life. There is literally no sane way view the world other than to align yourself with certain people over others, and put their interests first.
