I'm pretty sure you find the answer to your question in the map you posted.
Canada should switch desu. Then they could be more like the UK and less like the USA.
FUCK Napoleon
Here's the real version
>driving on the wrong side of the road
I love Ireland, but this is the reason they're not gonna have a wog stud humping all of their hot bitches
Canada is literally USA lite in every way except with how they spell some words.
FUGGGGGGGGGGGG
Part of me was expecting a meme first reply
it makes sense to drive on the same side of the road as the only country you have a border with, are culturally similar to, and do massive amounts of trade with
why in the world would they switch
Coming back from right side countries sticking to the left is just so nice
The better question is when will the accursed lefties finally admit that right is RIGHT?
In the early 1900s it became standardized, but until then some provinces drove on the right (places like ontario and quebec since the french were the previous owners and drove on the right) and some on the left (atlantic canada and british columbia). With the USA being our only neighbour it makes sense to drive on the right. Newfoundland drove on the left until the 40s when it joined Canada.
Every other English speaking country is like that desu
Australia is more "American" than Canada, all things considered, especially with the whole outback/wild west thing
Non-driver here
Is there a legitimate argument as to whether one side is superior to the other besides "it's more common"?
I've heard stupid arguments over minor bullshit but for practical purposes it doesn't matter.
Enjoy finding a way to replace millions of cars that drive on the right.
Some people claim driving on the left reduces accidents but I've never looked it up.
apparently because most people are right handed, they're "right eyed"
this (in theory) means that they are quicker to react to situations on the road
not really sure how true it is, because the UK are similar to other rich European countries when it comes to accidents

It probably has more to do with driver education, road quality, and car maintenance rather than what side they drive on
*quicker to react to situations if they drive on the left vs drive on the right*

How much time does it take for people to get used to when you have to switch the driving lane on the border of, such as Cambodia/Thailand or China/HonKong ?
