Why is Bulgaria so much better than you? I cant help it but to look down on all of you.
Why are you ashamed to show your country flag, you Eastern European?

It's probably a matter of how good of a job, being a code monkey is.
In the Netherlands it's not a very good job. At least, not as good as somebody with a proper science, math, engineering or medicine degree.

>Greek companies Such as HP, IBM and who else not
Camden Taylor
>Sofia already over 30k gdp per capita Wow, such an achivement, most other Eastern EU capitals have above 50k $ per capita. Also, this means nothing, since most of the companies just happen to be based at the capital. And those companies are also probably all foreign, like that Greek have said
Asher Martin
Yeah? Which ones, post me three with over 50k gdp. Dont be jelly cause you are an irrelevant shithole

In 2014, Warsaw had approximately $37k per capita nominal and around $69k per capita PPP, and considering our high growth, it must have increased by at least 10% (probably more because of compound growth) in last 3 years. fairvalue.pl/gospodarka/warszawa-w-piatce-najbogatszych-regionow-ue/
Camden Lewis
Thats cool but an exception and not the rule
Eli Adams
Yeah, Prague and Bratislava are also similar "exceptions"...
Adam Howard
Bratislava has 63k/capita, Prague has 57k/capita. Ljubljana (only the municipality) has 52k/capita. Hell, my whole country has above 30k.
Lincoln Sanders
I should add that my figures are in PPP, since OP has also posted PPP figuers for Sofia.
Hudson Hernandez

Bratislava has like the inhabitants of a sofian neighborhood, same for ljubljana. Im talking of real cities.
Ryder Jackson
>can you provide me some example >no this is an exception >no this doesn't count >no this doesn't count either I have nothing against Bulgaria and wish you prosperity and best luck in the future, but as it stands now, Warsaw area alone has larger economy and GDP than all of Bulgaria. You're still way, way behind the rest of Eastern Europe.
Evan Bennett
It is an exception of course. Let alone you entered the EU 5 years earlier, border Germans and suck their cock

Butthurt of what? You border Germany and they guiltfill you with money, you are a country of 40M and entered the EU 20 years ago, yet you have a barely 30% higher gdp per capita than us, you think thats a success?

Bulgaria and Romania seems interesting desu I'm planning to do a road trip from Hungary to Bulgaria via Romania.

Andrew Gonzalez
your data is grossly inaccurate stop making things up >you are a country of 40M how is that a benefit? smaller ex-commie countries have easier time catching up than larger countries >20 years ago 13 >yet you have a barely 30% higher gdp per capita than us, you think thats a success? 80% higher nominal GDP per capita and 43% higher GDP PPP per capita
Asher Campbell
Whatever im on the mobile and cant differentiate between your flag and theirs
Gdp per capita is max 30% more, trust me. Our grey economy is estimated at the value of 30% of our gdp.
Of course its a big advantage because it means more labour force. We are at the Balkans, my neighbors are poor af Serbs, Greece in crisis and Turkey. Only Romania is ok economically. We dont get the comfortable automotive shit because we can ship comfy back to Germany.
Leo Reed
>Gdp per capita is max 30% more, trust me. >trust me Ah yes, I will disregard official OECD and EU statistics and "trust" your intuition. >Our grey economy is estimated at the value of 30% of our gdp. Our grey economy is estimated at the value of 120% of our gdp (it's all me providing prostitution services to your mother).

These rankings are quite a bit misleading in regards to how low the US and India should actually place. I was actually curious enough to look it up since both countries are pretty notorious for producing developers.
Turns out the US and India have far and away the most people who try this test, and the bulk of them are college students using it as a sort of practice, while most of the people who try it from other countries are professionals.
Just FYI in case anyone else was wondering the same thing
