The one that got a shit tone of help from France

Aren't you forgetting the fact that other European powers helped you win?

the one that had support from the undemocratic major european powers (America)

The largest and most highly-trained army and navy on Earth, aided by thens of thousands of top-grade German mercenaries.

I doubt the right ones could stand a chance without French help

>Hessians
>top grade

The one who got financed by France and councilled by Lafayette

/cum/

Anglos are only capable of killing unarmed women and children

Didn’t Washington lost all the battles and just retreated?
Until Anglos has something better to attend to and left

>mexicANO education

How many people were killed?

Isn't it War of 1812?

our empire was tiny at the time, americans think that we were massive.

He didn't lose all the battles but most

He used Gurila operations because fighting the British amry head on would be no good

God damn we are impressive

BTFO the Brits and haven't lost a war since

Hey friend remember Sup Forums is always right

>Britts
>greatest army
Did they singlehandedly fight any really big war against a European nation and won?

No they just shot a bunch of niggers with sticks and mud huts.

Why would you fight a war with no allies

billy no mates

I think he meant before the american revolution

>Didn’t Washington lost all the battles and just retreated?
He didn't fight in all the battles.

You also have to remember the British failed miserably invading New England because Howe instead of coordinating with Burgoyne took his army to Philadelphia.

We failed in creating an uprising in Quebec but they also failed horribly in creating a loyalist uprising in the South and just lost a bunch of battles and pissed off the Southerners.

Some of the ones he "lost" usually as you said retreat

You'll notice these loses he was heavily outnumbered.

You'll also notice a lot of the battles (exception of battle of Long Island) were small and spread out with armies constantly on the move and a lot of skirmishes. You'll also notice sometimes U.S. forces were just a local militia and in the South it'd be loyalist versus revolutionary militias.

>our empire was tiny at the time, americans think that we were massive.
We averaged 40,000 troops you had at the height 48,000 troops in the colonies plus a superior navy, more native allies, Hessians and the French didn't get seriously involved in the fighting till the end. You were still able to fight the other Europeans and curry Indians globally so you weren't exactly tiny.

>Did they singlehandedly fight any really big war against a European nation and won?
No one was stupid to fight one on one. In the seven years war which they won shortly before the revolution they were the only naval power on there side for most of it while the other side had France and Spain.

France is OP

The British had to rely heavily on mercenaries because it was hard to find volunteers who wanted to fight in the colonies.

Oh shit that's gonna be a lot to read. We never really learned about your revolution in school except some people throwing tea into the ocean so this is much appreciated.

Having more soldiers than the enemy has bullets and using your quantity for a mass suicide mission doesn't exactly count as a victory

>rely on Whig support in the U.K.
>rely on French support
>rely on destroying native land (that was guaranteed by the U.K.) for money

Yanks are subhuman
Washington started shit off with France by attacking a French patrol and franklin considered himself an English patriot

bongs are just mad that they win the french indian war and get bfto when it really matters and lose the best colony they had

>whigs
>good

>franklin considered himself an English patriot

What an idiot he wasn't that at all.

The colonial army was pitifully short on everything. Benjamin Franklin suggested half-seriously that it might be necessary to go back to using the bow and arrow.

Britain's armed forces had good quality soldiers for the most part, but discipline was often harsh and pompous officers considered the enlisted men little more than bullet sponges. They were trained to fight a war in Europe and had a difficult time with the rugged terrain of North America. Various American tactics such as firing buck-and-ball shot and snipers targeting officers were denounced by the British as unfair and ungentlemanly.

The war grew increasingly unpopular in Britain as it dragged on, and many British disliked fighting their kinfolk in the colonies (as opposed to the French where you could just write them off as a different species of being from yourself).

The french

Navy yes, army, no. The continental European powers had the biggest and best armies at the time.

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Harlem_Heights
Washington won this battle though, it was actually his first victory as commander of the Continental Army.

>BTFO the Brits and haven't lost a war since
Vietnam kind of.

> what is the war of 1812?

The war was a stalemate.

>stalemate

Britain got exactly what they wanted out of it and you got nothing.

AFAIK Britain ceded the Mesabi Range in Minnesota which was full of iron ore.

Well in those days weren't military rifles and hunting gear practically the same thing?

>Well in those days weren't military rifles and hunting gear practically the same thing?
No. A musket fires a much bigger round than a hunting rifle.

Oh is this another thread where americans are assblasted they owe their independence to the french they love to hate and spit on ?
Kys fat mutt nigger

Why do Americans think they had anything to do with winning that war?
I get that any country is going to kind of exaggerate its own history but this is like Japan-tier levels of denial

Nobody is denying the French assistance in the ARW.

OP is, his image fails to mention that it was France that gave America her freedom. Even that was only made possible through British fair play

Underrated

If it wasn't for Pulaski USA wouldn't be a thing

t. UKIDF

Ah yes the unconventional tactic of shilling for Britain by explaining how it had a weaker army.

>to the french
And the Spaniards, we went there too, I agree that you did more

Based Spaniards thanks for the help. Also you are welcome for 1898

That's why we put Castro there, and send you tons of Mexicans

Lol that pic is not from the Boer war

Bankrupting Spain for eternity and crushing your imperial spirit was well worth Castro and Mexicans

NIce, next step is to join all that and bring back the Viceroyalty, get ready for 2170
Spanish Empire 2 the after naps
