Explain yourself France

explain yourself France

>norway

I would say Soviets

I respect Germans for being the only non-brainwashed Western Euros who can admit that

>siding with your own country
based

more brits died defending norway than norwegians
they send us a christmas tree every year to say thanks because they're good lads and not brainwashed by yank media like the rest of europe

This

It is very logical for most western nation to say usa (exept for us , sweden and portugal):
Italy, netherlands and belgium were liberated by the us, while eastern europee has some resentment aginst ussr

>people believe random sourceless maps on the internet

This

surrender monkeys

>Italy, netherlands and belgium were liberated by the us
The Italian Campaign was a British/American operation, and the Netherlands and Belgium were liberated by Canada.

France pretty much hosted half of the event.
USSR the other half.

Germany knows...

USSR bore the brunt of WWII for sure, as much as anglo education would tell you otherwise

...

>US
I'm honestly surprised people believe this.

It was the UK who stood alone against the Axis between 1940 and 1941, securing the North African Oil Fields and forcing Hitler to invade the USSR prematurely.
It was the UK who had the most part in the Normandy Landings, and the invasion of Italy and the liberation of Europe; who did the US liberate? They were stuck in France whilst Britain and Canada and the ANZACs were out freeing the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, etc.

The only theatre were the US actually played a pivotal part was the eastern theatre, as we practically fucked in that part of the world.

They would have lost without British and American material support and intelligence.

these

You fought to spread international Communism.

This is after a fortress luxembourg run

Well still get tulips from the Netherlands every year.

netherlands confirmed super gay

The better answer would be "Germany" though

Estonia lost as many men during ww2 as USA (both pacific abd european theatres) Americans didnt do shit tbqh

So, while Euros were busily slaughtering each other and cratering the white population, the Americans were in the Pacific BTFO gooks.
Sounds pretty based to me.

No it's not. What you're seeing here is just the result of decades of narrative provided by the various countries.
And OP's pic is bullshit.

...

>allied

>if you don't lose a lot of people you didn't fight

Nice meme.
USA is just good at war

translate you fucking frog

>United States
>France

are you genuinely retarded or have you never studied a single latin language in your life?

This is the ultimate redpilled answer.

>not figuring it out from Latin cognates

>or have you never studied a single latin language in your life
this

if you had half a brain you could understand it, but whatever

1st one: who do you think contributed the most to beat the nazi? (according to French in 1945, 1994, 2004, 2015)

2nd one: who do you think contributed the most to beat the nazi (from left to right: according to French / Germans / Brits in 2015)

Apparently Europe is full of idiots

>Spanish education

>british material support
Absolute state of your education desu.

The lend lease program is the reason the British were able to hold out in the war. The majority of materials and brotish armour (including trucks) came directly from the US. The Isles held out during the battle of Britain because Hitler was too busy devoting strategic resources to operation Barbarossa. As far as Africa goes the British forces were getting their shit kicked in by an undermanned and under supplied Afrika Korps. They started doing better when Montey came along but they had the supplies, man power, and American support. The Axis weren't removed from Africa until the Yanks showed up in the west pitting pressure on two fronts for Rommel.
The Island played her part indeed in the war. The enigma project and Radar were grwat boons to the allies but it is pure delusion to beleive that the UK dod more than either the US or Soviets.

>lost manpower =/= doing the most in the war
By that measure the Chinese did more than any other allied nation minus the soviets which are estimated to have lost about the same

Canada was in Italy too, and fought the Battle of Ortona, called "little Stalingrad" by contemporary media for its brutality. It was also considered by many one of the first examples of modern urban warfare. Canada improvised the "mouse-holing" tactic that is now so common in this type of warfare. It was also predominantly Canadians that broke through the dreaded Hitler Line in Italy.

The UK absolutely did more than the USA, there's not even a logical comparison.

Provide details to back this up.

this

us did very little in comparison to the uk, commonwealth, and ussr

>The majority of materials and brotish armour (including trucks) came directly from the US
Is that why the Americans had none of their own landing gear at Normandy?

Making opponent lose the most manpower and material is doing the most in the war.
Nearly 90% of German loses happened on Eastern Front.

>not Yugoslavia

we bogged the bastards down, hard
controlled vast swathes of UNCONQUERED terrain
and finally we liberated ourselves and set up a PEOPLE's government for the people and by the people

I fail to see how the UK dod so much when in the east they temporarily lost their southeast asian territories to the Japanese and only resecured them after US intervention. In Europe they lost in France, Barely survived the battle of Britain and during D-Day were able to land in Normandy due to American resources.Operation Market Garden (A british strategic assualt on the Northern secture of the Third Reich was considered to be a large failure. Italy was secured largely by US forces and the accompanying Churchill devised plan regarding the 'Soft Underbelly of Europe' was also a failure.

>dod
that's twice you've done that. fuck off and learn english jf.

While lend-lease was extremely helpful, the yanks weren't the only ones doing it, the Commonwealth poured billions into the program to keep Britain afloat while she singlehandedly held if the German war machine for years, supported only by the dominions. Even if America had not contributed, there were more than enough resources and labour in Canada, India, Newfoundland, and Australia to support Britain, it would have just meant possibly tighter rations. It was Canada and Britain that gave the tools to America to build atomic bombs, there were far more Brits on D-Day than yanks, it was a British plan, and relied on British intelligence, landing craft and Canadian experience (the bad kind) at Dieppe. It was the predominantly British arm of the ABDA fleet that bought the US Navy time to beef up, sacrificing themselves while the Americans fled. It was Churchill that tirelessly pushed FDR and Ametican sentiment towards the war and it was the British that convinced the Americans that Europe should be their focus following Pearl Harbor [sic] instead of Japan. It was the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan that designed the P51 Mustangs that could answer the Jap zeroes and luftwaffe, and they produced by far the most pilots and aces, including many of the American ones who went to Canada for training.

I could do this all day

well we did most of the fighting early on while the anglo shits just sat on their island

Phoneposting atm

>phoneposter is an uneducated retard
shocking desu

I'd honestly answer Germany

If it weren't limited to Allied countries, you'd have a point.

>All the good countries are blue
nice

it was italy teebeeach
