Hatay, Adana, Antep etc have no native Kurdish population. Dominant population was mostly (before Turk migration) Armenian and Levantine Arab with some Greeks in Alexandria and Adana.
Urfa is Kurdish/Arab mixed with some Turkmen tribes.

Edessa (Urfa) was an Armenian metropolis.
