The cop did nothing wrong. It's unfortunate that the guy couldn't follow orders correctly but after the Vegas shooting the police have been on edge trying to prevent another catastrophe from happening. Just think of the times when the suspect IS armed and how many times the police have prevented a tragedy. The reality is that the cost of this guys life is worth the lives of hundred because the precautionary actions are always worth it.

When you compare them with other countries, it really seems like America has LESS freedom if anything. Moreover, other countries are able to provide freedom without actually having a country where cops perform extrajudicial killings for shits and giggles and get off without as much as a flick on the wrist.

It seems as though the ONLY freedom which Americans can boast about differently from other countries is "muh gunz". But even there, some countries like Switzerland have plenty of gun freedom, but they ALSO have other freedoms, including the freedom to not get shot by 20-IQ policemen with AR-15s. Even Canada has decent gun freedom, and again without this insane culture of allowing cops to execute whoever they want.

Some Surinamese Hindu was suspected to be armed and he ran away from the police. In the Netherlands if you run away the cops can shoot at you if you are deemed dangerous. So the cop wanted to shoot him in the legs. But contrary to protocol, the cop moved while shooting. So instead of hitting the legs he hit his neck.
