Tony Scott > Ridley Scott
Tony Scott > Ridley Scott
Except these days of course
The Apple has fallen far from the bridge
I miss him
everyone took Tony Scott for granted, as the lesser un-artistic director
who's laughing now, huh ridley, you senile piece of shit?
Both shit.
Agreed. I unironically love the hyper active editing
Deja Vu is legitimately one of the most fun movies ever
Do you think he yelled Geronimo?
didnt he kill himself under some ritual?
I know he was dying
jesus christ
...
he wasn't though, there was no sign of illness
oh I thought he had a brain tumor
...
Is Molly underrated as an actress?
>God Tier
Domino
True Romance
>Great Tier
Man on Fire
Top Gun
The Last Boy Scout
The Hunger
>Ridley Tier
Crimson Tide
The Fan
>Prometheus Tier
Everything else
>Top Gun
she's my jewfu
yea she is underrated
...
Is Domino good?
It's pretty great if you don't have epilepsy
Not really
so why did he jump off a bridge?
NOBODY FUCKIN KNOWS
>Tony and Ridley were working on prequels/sequels to Blade Runner that would've actually been set in Philip K. Dick's universe
>Their working titles had no reference to Blade Runner and were completely original
He was chasing a rare pepe
His wife's son
Was she the best part of the show?
I like Eve better.
>thread derailed by loser waifufags
he was diagnosed with a terminal illness
no Toolman was actually pretty gud
>days of thunder not God tier

Spy Game is underrated.
this
Too soon.
He reenacted the opening scene from Prometheus. Illuminati rituals and such. Check Buzz Aldrin's Instagram.
Gravity > Tony Scott
watched spy game. loved it. tried man on fire, basically had a seizure. wtf was he thinking w that movie
Walter Scott>Tony Scott > Ridley Scott
Man on fire is a good movie, and I'm not just saying that because of prime Dakota.
man on fire was fine, domino is where he jumps the bridge
man on fire is literally unwatchable because of his editing "technique"
Tony Scott's films are definitely better if you're looking for some pulpy popcorn fun, his brother's movies are utterly dull most of the time if you think about it. Great visuals and soundtracks, almost consistently, but bah.
your wrong
I raise you Scott of the Antarctic
Johnathan Nolan > Christopher Nolan
he wasn't less artistic, he wasn't avant garde per se, what his eye did see was illustration brilliantly
Imagine literally going on the internet and going to Sup Forums and literally typing this post with your own actual fingers
old age
the average Sup Forums autist > any Nolan
Fuck you Ridley for making Covenant so shit
...
>crimson tide that low
>crimson tide below top gun
get some taste
...
>Unstoppable
>Prometheus Tier
delet you fucking shit
Same bridge he met the real gangs of New York on to ask them to cooperate and participate in the Warriors movie. Had recently met with new gangs on same bridge to discuss remake.
maybe thrown from bridge by hoodlums?
He at least knew when he was past his prime
crimson tide is horrifically underrated. not a masterpiece by any means (unfortunately tony doesn't have a masterpiece), but a great fucking movie.
enemy of the state is comfy too. deja vu he kinda fucked up a little bit but still a good movie. most of his other work is problematic tho..
almost all his movies had energy though and were crowd pleasers. very very adept at using all sorts of tools to push the pacing and exhibit that kinetic style, something that ridley is horribly deficient in..
Barry Scott > Tony Scott > Ridley Scott
I thought this was Donald Trump.
Very sad.
>underrated
Do people know what this means? Crimson Tide is perfectly rated, it's always highly praised by people and it was well received when it was released.
It's like saying "i'll be hated for this but I think The Rock was Michael Bays best movie"
