Is The Sopranos a Series or an Exposition?

Here's the tier list for the best television shows of all time. In no particular order after #1.

1) The Sopranos
2) The Shield
3) True Detective season one
4) Mad Men
5) The Wire

Honorable mention: Breaking Bad.

Where would you rank King of The Hill and the first half of Dexter?

...

I only saw a few episodes of KOTH. Never watched Dexter.

>tfw too smart to fall for the sopranos, the wire, and mad men meme

You forgot to post a picture of someone with a stupid fucking face

no, but is kino

>i'm going to outreddit the reddit

Explain to me, without using memes, how any of those shows qualify as "reddit." Also name your favorite show(s).

That's a misuse of the term "exposition." A pilot episode would be an exposition.

except for mad men they are all ncis tier shows
there's no thought put into it, they are just soap opera with a theme
and in your case, it's all the same theme
>muh crime drama

get taste

Aside from all being crime dramas, this entire post is troll bait. Unless you're honestly claiming that none of those shows "have any thought put into them." Can you be more specific?

I get the same feeling when people recommend Sons of Anarchy. Half the show is soap opera-tier drama.

bet i could compile a mash up of all those shows and you wouldn't be able to tell they're actually 4 different shows

again mad men not included

>conveniently ignoring the part where you were asked to name your favourite shows

Yup. True reddit detected

IASIP
WW
AHS s1
Generation Kill
BSG

Oh god no, not this shit again. I can't take any more of this after the Kino shit of 2012-2016

>Freddieposting is Reddit
You are horribly mistaken user

Exposition isn't good enough go to catch on. Dig deeper famalam.

>exposition

I have finally seen the day 14 year old shitposters go to far.

>implying implications

What the hell is even going on anymore

>no serials
>no chapter plays

No.

1) True Detective
2) Mad Men
3) Twin Peaks
4) Hannibal
5) The Leftovers

Honorable mention: The Wire

anybody else smell upvote gold

>exposition
found the redditor trying to meme his meme
it called telekino you redditcuck

...

Dexter would be better if it actually trusted its audience to think about what was going on in Dexter's mind and surroundings instead of injecting expository narration and ghost-dad conversations into every fucking scene. Like Breaking Bad, it's a show for people with average intelligence to feel smart, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because it's still a great show with great visuals, decent story, and believable characters. But it shouldn't be ranked among the best.

>mad men and true detective above twin peaks
actually kill yourself
