it's always the best when they are stylized to match the movie
>either an 8 out of 10 or a 2 out of 10
Same with FilmFour

TRUE kino incoming
incredible
the IMAX logo sequence is so fucking loud and obnoxious at first, but then when it gets to the end it somehow feels really good. Kinda like THX, but with annoying slogans everywhere

I love that "BEAAHW-weeem" tone that plays at the end
It wasn't done back then, and they had to get special permission to screw with it by proving how awesome the opening scene was.
Nowadays the companies fall all over themselves to do it to help usher along the coolness of a movie. Reminds me of Kubrick paying $50,000 to use the Whirlpool logo on the space equipment, when now movies charge half a million for it.

was it a JoJo reference??
Always makes me think of Indiana Jones
Always makes me think of Alien and Star Wars. It feels weird not having that 20th Century Fox fanfare before a SW movie
