It looks like this nigga only does upper upper body workouts.

Patrician as fuck

Only faggots looking to get laid do anything else

>suddenly
prove it

idk, but my mom grew up watching them because she was interested in spy novels. that's how i got into them.

wtf

you literally don't see his legs, and by his core and obliques I'm pretty sure he squats/deadlifts decently

Women have always watched it for sexy Bond

Bond popularity sky rocketed because of Pierce Brosnan and not because he was most amazing actor but because he looked good to women.

Golden Eye.

by 'skyrocketed' do you mean 'returned back to previous ballpark'?

Was there an actual reason why he was in the water? Wasn't he looking for that dude and then out of nowhere

>well fuck it no sense letting this go to waste

It's like being on an important mission but going to the gym in the middle.

No, I mean create brand recognition. Bond wasn't that popular in states before Golden Eye, it also helped to have a media push across many platforms.

It might have been super popular in britain but there wasn't a big media push in the states before Golden Eye.

Just because older films are revered doesn't mean it dropped an ounce of influence here.

All films before hand were mid-range films that were popular for a time but then disappeared, no different than most capeflicks now.

Lasting recognition is hard to achieve.

red is US, blue is global box office gross (both adjusted for inflation). Again I don't think i can agree with you

oops

Why was Skyfall so popular? Marketing?

>tfw brosnon was the best bond but was in the worst bond movies not counting goldeneye

Your own statistics prove my point, it was very small impact on movie market. I never said it wasn't popular world wide, but like most things british, especially dredd, it just doesn't take hold here.

I said golden eye had an impact here in US. I'm sure bond was popular world wide.

The only bad thing about goldeneye was the theme song

>cavill would have been a better bond
>bale would have been a better bond

now we will have idris alba, why is the world so unfair

the stupid title song that played nonstop

The movie released during the height of Adele's popularity, definitely had a big part in it.

Lmao nobody wants a balding manlet

>implying you were even born when goldeneye came out

stop talking out of your ass faggot

>Craig doing a Bond pose a year before he was chosen as Bond
I love this

The perfect movie couple

If Fassbender doesn't get chosen as the next Bond after Craig leaves, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with this world

>One of the best villains
>Amazing visual film
>Craig's performance is perfect
>Young Q (felt bizarre at first but actually worked really well)
>Brought back the good light toned Bond quips that makes the classics special
Skyfall is by far one of the best Bond movies. I did really enjoy Spectre too if only Blofeld had better motivation otherwise thank God for Mendes being the director of these last 2 because he truly fixed up the dreadful mess that Foster made with his cut of Quantum of Solace.

What's this from?

>suddenly

Title is in webm

What's Chief O'Brien doing there?

I miss him with longish hair. His hair was way too short in Skyfall

It's a British film so I take it Chief O'Brien was in the area and he landed a role

>bowlcut

why

>>you literally don't see his legs

He hides them in the water because he has tiny leprechaun legs

Seriously, why is his hair so short here? If he returns for 1 last movie, please grow it out.

Why don't they want the audience to see his beautiful blonde hair?

the next bond is going to be some unknown teenager

screenshot dis here post

Probably going to pick a black chick in a wheelchair to appease the sjw crowd...gotta get that diversity quota up...

It looks ridiculous, his short hair looks badass

50 year anniversary of the franchise. Shit was hype as fuck.

His hair looks great here

but le black man

Roger Moore era Bond was way better than anything that followed it.

F

I don't like it desu, it reminds me of bad elementary schoolkid haricuts

He's cute with this hair

He looks like a softie. Or an eighties movie German villain or smth. Stop posting.

this

kek, he would definitely it in as one of the terrorists in Die Hard.

Exactly

Not really Bond-ish imo

They should have just cast them as actual brothers considering how similar they look

Except they don't look similar one bit you faceblind autist fuck

Name 5 [F-I-V-E] similarities, but actually don't, because you aren't allowed to reply to me.

At least he has more of a fringe in Spectre so yeah he looks much better here.

Also anyone notice how much more bulk he looks compared to Casino or is that just me

his face though.. like a mongoloid

>Name 5 [F-I-V-E] similarities
They both look European, German, Blonde hair.

IT'S A MATCH

No. He is master race

Thoughts on his new hairstyle? Looks like he has gone fully blonde

...

JUST

FUCK YOU he looks hot as hell with this hair

>mfw he actually makes me want to consider dying my hair blonde

he looks fucking awful in that hair bro.

pic related is the man of every woman's dreams

good question. Combination of these :

1, it was the 50th anniversary (pretty much to the day, October 1962 - October 2012)
2, the Queen had her Diamond Jubilee that year, so all year long in 2012 we'd had lots of British hype and memorabilia. For example I remember all year long Tesco decked out all their food products that year with Union Jacks on them. It was pretty big hype.
3, The London 2012 Olympics had just happened (and on top of the already huge British hype) for the opening ceremony, they had a stunt where it appeared that 007 parachuted the Queen into the Olympic Stadium. The footage on TV had a little teaser clip of Skyfall, the film about to come out. This increased anticipation more.
4, There had been 4 years since the last film, 2008's Quantum of Solace. For the Bond franchise this is a fairly large gap, it's usually 1 or 2 years. Anticipation had been cranked up, Bond was going to come home, rumours of a major character dying, etc.
5, Daniel Craig's gritty, modern Bond was becoming more popular with critics, who saw it as a good reaction to the popularity of the 21st century's new superspy : Also with the initials J.B., Jason Bourne and his grittiness were order of the day. Even though Timothy Dalton had done the same thing in the 80s, audiences weren't ready for it then. Critics went on about it and the public began to believe it.
6, The series had been in the doldrums for a while and even if it had been pish it would have had big hype, cos theres a part of us doesn't want to see Bond go.
007, Films just make more money these days. The world's population is bigger, more people go to the cinema, movies make more money -- even with inflation taken into account movies nowadays make more money, in real terms. Look at the 10 top grossing films of all time. More than half of them are from the last 5 years.

A combination of all these factors make Skyfall a big hit. (Even though the film is crap)

Midlife crisis in action

>woman want guys with long hair like them
No

cavil is too young

IS HE GOING TO RETURN AS BOND??

PLEASE I HATE WAITING. GIVE ME SOME NEW INFO PLEASE SOMEONE ON WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE NEW BOND MOVIE

ALL I KNOW IS THAT IT WILL BE FILMED IN CROATIA AND CHRIS NOLAN'S COMPANY BOUGHT THE RIGHTS

One of the best fight scenes ever. Style and substance over action

Someone explain to me what's wrong with Craig as Bond? I genuinely don't get what's wrong with him. He does whatever he wants, fucks women and has plot armor out the ass. Why do people dislike him?

Does he age at all? DS9 was like almost 20 years ago.

Someone in the last Bond thread posted a link where Craig confirms he's coming back for 1 more, but it was an 11 minute interview so I didn't watch it.

This?
youtube.com/watch?v=ZB8-VRpglnc

I don't really know if the fight scene had as much impact of the movie being a hit, than the suggestions I made.

another big factor was Adele singing the title track. She was possibly the biggest music star in the world in 2010/11/12, and it was something of a coup to get her on board singing it.

Besides, that fight is shit compared to
>From Russia With Love
train fight with Robert Shaw
>Jason Bourne (2016)
Fight in car park with French dude
>Lord of the Rings
final fight scene with Gollum

there's 3 better fights just off the top of my dome, bud.
Try harder next time, friend

He started off with no humor and felt like Bourne to many but he got better in Skyfall and Spectre, feeling more like Bond to me with some good jokes.

Hope he comes back

yeah

8. Sam Mendes

My point is that that Skyfall fight scene is 10 million times better than this shit

So he's a lying piece of shit. He said he'd rather slit his arms open than play Bond again.

Guess he's desperate for dat dere Bond cash.

So people dislike him because he is too serious? Is that it?

Watch this
The interviewer brings up his "slashing his wrists" interview and Craig responds with he was feeling very tired with making Bond then but he feels better now and wants to make another

That and some don't like a blonde Bond

Once again you miss the point.

I am stating reasons why the film was a success financially.
Note that most of my reasons are external, contextual reasons such as public opinion at that time, framing the history of the 007 franchise and were 2012 fitted into it, etc.

The fight scene being good , or who directed it, are reasons why the film itself is good, but not why it would be a financial success.

I guarantee you that 99 % of people who went to see Skyfall and made it a success 1, didnt go because there was a hot rumour going around there was a great fight scene and 2, didn't go because of who the director was, and couldn't tell you who Sam Mendes is from Adam anyway.

Why something is financially successful is a different story to why something is qualitatively good, you see.
Even at that, skyfall is a shit film and Mendes is a shit director.

>craig
>bond

He looks like Tommy Wiseaus long lost brother.

Nah his legs are perfectly fine.

Layer Cake is Daniel Craig kino

What are his cock dimensions fully erect?

Based on this pic I'm going with 6.3*5.4

Then this happens when he appears in his first Bond film.

nice eyes tho

>fight scene
>posts a chase scene

...

It's pretty rad, but the first fight scene in Casino Royale was better. It's the grittiest, most realistic fight scene I've ever watched.

>ginger
>man of every woman's dreams
Yeah, no.

Leg exercises are essential for upper body strength you utter dyel

>Young Q
>"I am young and hip and better than you haha MILLENIALS amirite"

...

Kek

Not just that, going for anaerobic leg exercises gives a huge boost in testosterone production which helps your overall ability to make gains, remain fit, recover from workout and it also has various beneficial psychological effects.

>H-he skips leg day!

Why don't we get good beach movies anymore? I wish Eric Rohmer was still alive.

have you visited the creepiest place on the internet lately?

dedicatedtodaniel.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4&sid=febfcc4a970c658f1a4218e99206ba73

>tfw my name is Daniel

When has there ever been good beach films? Genuinely asking.
