AFAIK Arrietty was the last Studio Ghibli movie which was released on VCD.
VCD is still pretty big in Hong Kong, even to this day, and Studio Ghibli films are blockbusters there and most every Chink I talked to loves Studio Ghibli films, regardless if I'm in Hong Kong, Taiwan or Mainland China.
So why the hell did they stop making VCDs for Ghibli films starting with From Up on Poppy Hill?
Also, The Force Awakens wasn't released in VCD in Hong Kong but apparently, it had a VCD release in the Philippines.
