Should I teach English in Tokyo or Japan...

Should I teach English in Tokyo or Japan? I'm an attractive American and bilingual in English and French who will graduate from college in a year with a degree in Physics (didn't know what I wanted to do when I started school but love physics) and want to learn more about eastern Asian culture. I have a year left of school and am trying to decide which language to pick up Korean or Japanese and I think teaching English there would be a great way to learn. Like I said I have a year left of school so I can use that time to familiarize myself with whichever language I decide.

Some things I'm taking into consideration

>dating
What are the differences between Japanese and Korean women? In looks and in culture.

Also which city are the girls more... 'western' as in okay with dating a foreigner and possibly sexy time (no disrespect to your women in a lot of ways I very much appreciate the conservative culture!)
>nightlife and food
I enjoy going to bars and sometimes a club occasionally and I'm sure both have plenty to offer but if someone can give me some insight into the specifics of each city that would be nice.
>technology
Which one is more 'futuristic'? As I alluded to before I'm sure both have plenty to offer but some further insight would be nice
>pollution
Which city is dirtier?

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Any personal stories, advice, or anything I'm forgetting would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

>Should I teach English in Tokyo or Japan?
>American "education"

Continue studying physics you retard instead of pursuing a shitty job

>Tokyo or Japan
Are you trying to be retarded on purpose?

>Any personal stories, advice, or anything I'm forgetting would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Lesson 1: Tokyo is in Japan.

Op here

I meant Tokyo or Seoul!

Sorry

Both are overcrowded and over competitive. Get a comfy job in either country's countryside. Pay's higher and accommodation's better

Put all this effort into a post and fucked up the most basic part

Feels bad man

I could I'm really considering it but I don't wanna spend my whole life doing science which is probably what I would end up doing. I had a great time studying physics and could go for my doctorate but idk.. i eventually wanna take the MCAT and see how I do I'm taking the Orgo series before I graduate but I wanna see world and explore while I'm young.

Life is confusing and the future is scary :(

Persue ESL, but realise that it's usually a young man's game and get out while you still can. Once you've seen all you wanted, get home and and get a proper job

>Life is confusing and the future is scary :(
You are such a fucking faggot holy shit

Eat a dick

Please teach in Korea.

I think I'll teach in Japan. Can I stay with you?

>""""Teaching""""" English
Teaching anything is not easy. Multiply this difficulty by 1000 when you have a language barrier. Unless you have TESOL quals, don't.

Hmm.. noted.. I'm sure it won't be easy. Part of the reason I made this thread was because I still have a year left of school and could learn the basics of whichever language of the country I decide to go to.

Also I read online you don't even need to know Japanese to teach in Japan (idk about Korea) but I'm sure it would be very helpful.

Does Korea need more English training, or is it just that you hate whitu piggu?

Translation: You're a nobody in your home country and you suck in some way that you'd rather not post about.

Translation: you're a nobody who goes on Sup Forums and calls other people nobodies

Isn't it more often than not the case with aspiring English teachers?

No, OP is just a fag, like most Korean men, so he'd fit in there.

>dating
IDK much about Korean women, but my Asian friends (mostly Chinese) tell me that they tend to be high maintenance. I'd take that with a grain of salt though. Either way, pretty boy types tend to dominate over the more macho guys.

>nightlife and food
Japanese nightlife generally involves people you know going out to izakayas and shit, and not as much getting rowdy with strangers. From what I can tell, Korea is more American in this regard and theres more clubbing. You can always go to Roppongi though, which is the most westernized part of town and theres a lot of gaijin hunters that go clubbing there.

>technology
What do people mean by this?

>pollution
Tokyo is ridiculously clean, but Seoul is cleaner than American cities too. Only Singapore is comparable to Tokyo when it comes to big cities, though they have draconian policies to achieve it.

I have a degree in Applied Physics. There are no decent job in physics unless you get a PhD in it. Even if you get a PhD, you would probably make less than software devs, even though you sank 6 shitty years to get another piece of paper to prove how smart you are.

OP should go into industry. A physics degree still holds some respect in many places. You are going to be better off as a physics bachelors with 6 years of industry experience than a PhD with none.

Aren't you a STEM major? So shouldn't it be comparatively easy to find a job? All jokes aside, I known Koreans are better at English than Japanese are.

hmm

>another white sexpat who cant get laid in his own country thread
