Homeschooling
every homeschooled kid I know had a speech impediment
Naw, but I was valedictorian of my class.
pretty much this. I knew someone who did part time public-homeschool. Seems to give you the social interaction with plebs that allows you to be relatable but keep you safe from leftist brainwashing like this
Don't listen to any of the faggots in this thread. I was homeschooled from 2nd-9th grade. It's entirely 100% dependent on your parents. My mom is an aggressive Christian, my dad not so much. I was allowed to hang out with "public school kids" and play sports.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, homeschooling is an incredible opportunity if your parents knock it out of the park. I see some real fucked up kids come out of homeschooling, and some extremely successful.
I'm by most standards "normal" but you get a big "us vs. them" mentality. Homeschooling isn't you and your parents, it's a tribe of local families that all think the same way. We would go on field trips, went to same church, etc. It's a community that thinks public schools have failed us, and Catholic private schools isn't the answer.
Plenty more to say on this topic.
>not being crammed into a lord of the flies system, where you may be bullied, or bully other children gives you social anxiety issues
haha
Pretty much this. It's very contingent on your parents. My mom was a public school teacher, so we ran on a pretty regimented schedule and didn't waste time like a lot of homeschooled families do. We also did sports with the public HS, because they allow for open enrollment here. I felt like I was very well served by it. I got to study more focused material that I was interested in, and ultimately scored well enough on standardized tests to get most of my college paid for.
i was homeschooled & you are wrong
i ended up capably educated by my engineer father & a very eloquent mother. all my bases were covered. whats more, i knew i couldnt mouth off to the teach, because the principal came home every day at five thirty. they indulged me scholastically, & i ended up finishing my work before twelve daily & running outside to go fall out of trees or whatever.
i graduated high school at the age of fifteen, & while im no real lady killer, i have an enjoyable group of friends & can get some if i try. the point im getting at here is i owe all this to the incredible diligence of my loving parents. this type of family isnt exactly common anymore, unfortunately.
tl;dr, i turned out fine but god damn was i lucky
feels fucking good huh mane
What's your IQ?
I love posting this one.
