I mean I guess immigrants are more likely to commit crime because of poorer circumstances. But it becomes problematic when ethnicity gets brought into this. It's not a bad thing to be careful with making such statistics public IMO, might just sparkle more mutual racism/animosity. The more westerners start getting prejudiced towards Islam, the more moderate/well-integrated Muslims could tend to radicalize or become equally prejudiced, etc. I just don't see how these ethnicity based statistics are supposed to help anyone and I think it's bad to use them as a political tool.
