it's easy to shit on suburbia when you're living in the comfort of a suburb

Fuck that. I live 40 minutes east of LA in the expansive sprawl. 80% of these neighborhoods are shit.

No. It grants you all the freedom and imagination as a child and none of the fear of being in a city.

Wouldn't the countryside do a better job of that?

How long do you have to drive for school/a supermarket/hospital normally?

Yes.

>california

found the problem

A few blocks at most?

Sounds okay then.

>I live 40 minutes east of LA in the expansive sprawl.
your favela doesn't reflect the majority of suburbs.

Yeah, but where are all your friends then? Isn't it convenient to have your circle of friends 1-2 blocks away? Most suburban areas often have schools, parks, ponds, and golf courses as well. So it's probably a paradise from the perspective of a child, but more of a lifeless sprawl of buildings from the perspective of an adult.
I'm obviously biased though.

Americans are suburbia worst invention.

Depends on the suburb. Some are well planned, and some aren't.

No, the worst invention is urban areas filled with niggers and junkies. Of course, urban areas are often shit in other countries but no developed countries have that level of shit urban areas

I live in the suburbs. Pretty chill area with almost no crime.
>5 minute walk to school
>15 minute walk to the nearest train station
>10 minute drive to the grocers
Thanks I guess :)

no

Oh no! All those people living in pleasant conditions!

It might not be the most urbanistically correct invention, but it's still comfy not to live heaped like rats in expensive tiny apartments.

>Is suburbia America’s worst invention?
No

That is suburban commuting to the city.

>you will NEVER experience life in the suburbs mid 50s early 60s
