i can't wait for this wh*Teoid euroshit arc to end

They were always villain. What are you talking about?

>destroyed in world war 1
>destroyed in world war 2
>cucked
>their one empire lasted 12 years, ended with hundreds of thousands of dead Europeans and maintained close to none of their territory

not unless there's a miracle

>>destroyed in world war 1
>most of the fighting took place in France, and they resisted until they won
?

I don't know
We were the good guys, as Athens was
Irl good guys are not meant to survive, they are meant to shine forever alongside with gods after dying as heroes

...

...

...

All of Europe surrendered against Nazi Germany, except its allies and the UK, and France actually kept half its territory and was one of the only countries with an active resistance force.

...

>destroyed in world war 1
We won WW1, major battles were in France for the western front.
>destroyed in world war 2
Yes we lose at first but at the end we are in the victorious side and we had a piece of Germany during 4 occupation zones, not bad for a loser.
>cucked
During the occupation of France ? Yes, okay for this one.
>their one empire
We had two empires without counting the others two colonial empires

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_French_Empire

You're welcome bro

>Yes we lose at first but at the end we are in the victorious side and we had a piece of Germany during 4 occupation zones, not bad for a loser.
>victorious side
Without your bigger friends you would answer in German

>all of Europe surrendered against Nazi Germany, except its allies and the UK

France fell to Germany because of the nazi sympathizers, the French resistance did okay because it was backed by the British. Poland never fully surrendered, they had resistance, Soviet Union came in and crushed the Germans, they didn't surrender. Greece didn't surrender to the Axis forces either, they kept the Italians out of Greece. Other countries like Austria embraced the Nazi's and accepted them (once more, not surrendering but working with them). Meanwhile Switzerland and Sweden stayed neutral. Saying "All of Europe surrendered..." is very naive.

so would the rest of europe

That's bullshit this, France occupied Netherland and Rhine Confederation (modern Germany) and yet they still speak their languages.
Worse it's for Vietnam or Algeria, about 100 years under french administration

>We won WW1
France was backed the British and Americans so therefore it's unfair to say the French won
>Yes we lost but we were on the victorious side
Um no, you were saved by the allied powers. Many people in Eastern France were sympathetic towards the Nazi's
>second French empire
apparently holding 4 territories is now considered an Empire. The US literally owns more and we're not an empire lmao

>american historians

>France was backed the British and Americans so therefore it's unfair to say the French won
Holy shit
I'm actually impressed you're able to type

>France fell to Germany because of the nazi sympathizers
Holy shit lol

At this point the American isn't accurate desu.
France fell because of their Zero Resistance Policy. Like always.

>France fell to Germany because of the nazi sympathizers
No, it fell to Germany because Nazi Germany was immensely powerful and France knew it was no match. France was the country with the most casualties in WW1, it's no wonder they didn't want to fight a losing battle.

Dude french flags haha

Liked and upvoted

Here's your (you)

Actually this one is kinda true
Even if it was not really nazi sympatizers but more some great capitalistic families seeing in the rise of european fascisms a chance to pressure the working classes

>France was backed the British and Americans
Excuse me but it was a world war, not only France vs Germany (even thought the conflict was like that somehow)
>Um no, you were saved by the allied powers
Um yes, because that does not change the fact that France is in the victorious camp. You can thanks de Gaulle for this one.
Check, created juste after WW2.

>apparently holding 4 territories
Learn the Coup d'Etat of Napoléon III in France

J'èspere pour cela.

>you would answer in German
Urgh
Are you 12 or what
I thought germans would be most informed about that war...

Stop posting... the german lost more men than France during WW1, their army was bigger and fought on two fronts and the french and german forces were comparables in 1940, stop with that german superiority meme

:^)

We all do friend, we all do

Being saved doesn't make you a champion, yes it's a world war and you're taking lots of credit for defeating the Nazi's

The eternal frog was never the protagonist.

Canada is a side role

>All of Europe surrendered against Nazi Germany
Not all.

The thing that I want to explain is that at the end France had privileges of winner thanks to de Gaulle. Without him France would have been relegated to second place. So no nuclear, no permanent member, no occupation zone of Germany etc.
The only spot on the board for France is Yalta Conference

Nazi germany being superior militarily to France is a meme. The main cause for french defeat was lack of communication and poor planning and strategical decisions.

>the german lost more men than France during WW1
They lost 600 000 more men but were also 25 millions more numerous than the french population

>muh underground government kurwa

Better than muh la resistance memed to death by Hollywood for some reason.

>France had privileges of winner thanks to de Gaulle. Without him France would have been relegated to second place
Such a great man. I bet he's hailed as a hero in modern France.

kind of, yes

>Athens
>Good guys

Post some examples of hollywood movies about the résistance I'm curious...

de Gaulle is The Greatest Frenchman for french people

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Greatest_Frenchman

nice
coluche is the only one who shouldn't be there tbqh

Obviously they are
Read Herodotus and Thucydidus

>you would
And what language are you telling him that in?
If and would are pointless in history, fact is Germans talking in the language of their conquerors is a reality.

Is this satirical? We know how much you idiots hate him, for no reason btw

One day

>Nazi germany being superior militarily to France is a meme. The main cause for french defeat was lack of communication and poor planning and strategical decisions.
Poor communication and logistics = bad military
