Advice for getting over a fear of needles?

>DUHH HUHH just stop being a faggot lol

Ask a professional psychologist, I think some are specialised in phobias.

I never got this fear, like sure, if its some heroin addicts syringe then maybe don't stick it in your arm, but hospitals use one time sterilized needles and throw them away after one use, don't they?
you're more likely to catch an infection from holding the railing on the train that taking a vaccine

I don't think OP is scared of catching a disease.
I think he is just scared of the needle, as in, the pain that it causes.

repeated exposure

It's a phobia, user. It's not rational. Like many people are afraid of planes, in spite of the fact that planes are very safe compared to other transportation.
OP has a phobia of needles and probably other pointy things, and many other people have the same problem.

DUHH HUHH just stop being a faggot lol

don't go near needles

practice with a needle of your own

why do you fear needless? do they scare you or do you pass out?

Exposure therapy maybe? I'm guessing you don't get many injections, that's probably a big part of why you're scared. Go see a doctor and tell him about it. Maybe he can make you a couple appointments so you can get stuck with some needles and see that it's not a big deal.

Couldn't I just go to the local methadone clinic or homeless shelter and pay derelicts to stab me with needles?

DUHH HUHH just stop being a faggot lol

yes you can

Some smackhead with shaky hands coming at you with infected needles probably isn't the best way to get over your fear tbqh.

Take some Dimenhydrinate 30~60 minutes before seeing the doctor.
It won't take it all away, but will make it more bearable.

have you tried not being a faggot?

I'm afraid of needles too.
When I see a needle, I think that it will go straight into my eye.
What do?

batman here has the right idea

Wear goggles

With Russian doctors, that's not an unreasonable fear.

dont look at the needle, especially when its going in

if you must look, do it after its already in and set up

I've heard having a conversation while you get pricked is another way to reduce pain too
t. have gotten an allergy shot once a week for 12 years strait

also had to have blood drawn once a week for a couple weeks in highschool

pic unrelated

Get a disease that requires you to get an injection at least once a day.

As many anons said the only way to really cure a phobia is to expose yourself to it until you realize it isn't harmful.
I used to be deadly afraid of bees when i was a kid because once when i was out running one summer a bee flew right under my eye and stung me, i was deadly scared that if i EVER got in contact with a bee they would take my eye, but after some time and being outside i understood what happened was just bad luck.
Perhaps you've just had a bad experience with a physician that didn't quite know how to draw blood from you, wich is understandable and not everyone has the same pain threshold, but you just need to keep letting it happen, since it is a irrational fear
