I don't know, man... I've read the manga back in 2013. It's kinda late to talk about this series now.

Best anime in years, nothing else even comes close.
I liked the season overall but when the Reiner/Berthold transformation scene happened it turned from a good anime to something special.

Also the penultimate episode was brilliant, the animation, music, character scenes were all nailed to perfection. The action was insanely well executed for an anime it was like Ride of Rohirrim meets Battle of the Bastards.

Sup Forums autists will probably call it normie trash and nitpick it to shit but I don't care its easily the best show of 2017 so far

Shows got a much lower budget, so it's given that anime will be superior to live action in most cases.

There were enough non Aryans happily fighting for the Germans for many different reasons. Opposing Marley is unlikely to end well while the collaboteurs at least got some boons compared to the average Eldian. As long Marley got some of them on their side, fighting the rest would be easier too. Besides, outside of the beast titan and coordinator, the rest aren't even that impressive and got tons of weaknesses. Marley intel (and technology) seems superior and even the people on Madagascar found ways without it.

Oh right, thinking back on it, one of the themes to the storyline (well the Marly vs. Arabs part) is painting it as obvious that against a true military force, Titans wouldn't be able to do much.

It's like Metal gear all over again, imagined to be hugely powerful weapon, and told as such too, but when you get down to it, it's only a minute advantage.

And I remember that only the very very loyal Eldians escaoed to Madagascar, while the rest were chill/approved of Marleyan rule.
