- If there's something terrible on the floor 507 and they can't get up, how do topknots just get up freely to pick up people?
- How Master ended up on a ship?
- What point in Master's timeline is it?
How much of this is going to be explained next episode?
>implying it's not a simulation
>How much of this is going to be explained next episode?
The Master survives a lot of shit with no explanation
why is everyone in space british
as ever duh
>- If there's something terrible on the floor 507 and they can't get up, how do topknots just get up freely to pick up people?
Good question. What exactly stops them from just going up through the elevator and taking control? Why do they even need to be strong?
>- How Master ended up on a ship?
That will be explained in the episode, I reckon.
>- What point in Master's timeline is it?
After the End of Time, around 600-800 years, but before regenerating into Missy.
Only in classics
Storytelling norms changed since 1986
...
Why are normie DrWho fans so fucking vapid and uninteresting?
Not everything is wibbly woobly bullshit and it stopped being funny a long time ago.
Because we're the fucking best at colonisation. Well, except muslims.
they have fun with the same material for the wrong reasons:
shipping and crossplaying
they never cared about plot
it's after The End of Time, this much is obvious. So far Simm's Master has regenerated in Utopia, then he came to Earth as Harold Saxon, then he died, then he got resurrected and got sucked into the Time War- there is no way to somehow squeeze this adventure anywere in this timeline.
What happened later is anyone's guess - we didn't see him regenerate and the Time Lords could definitely treat whatever happened to him during the failed resurrection in TEOT
Stop thinking the Valeyard will ever happen. It's not going to happen.
Might not even be the Tennant-era Simm, it could be like how the Curator took/revisited the face of 4: a future incarnation of the Master 'revisiting' old faces. Doubt it though. Doubt it will be explained too.
He didn't get sucked into the fucking time war, nowhere in the episode does it show that.
First good episode of the season 2bh
gallifrey jumped out from breach into the end of the universe and is there now, so Master could have been in jail and just got out
He literally walks into the void with rassilon
Hate how the Mondasian cibbers stomp...it's the same sound as the Gaiman ones :(
Voices are shit too.
also holy fuck that captcha. Get hype for Xmas i guess.
or he never was dragged back with Dalton
he just left the room
He disappeared along with Gallifrey and Time Lords, where do you think he went?
Gallifrey is trapped in the Time War and the Master ended up back there with Tim Dalton and the rest of the time niggas, that was literally the whole point of the End of time.
I fucking loved Heaven Sent, favorite episode of the show and one of my favorite TV episodes of all time. Fucking amazing. Then they followed it up with Hell Bent and I stopped watching because my expectations were built up so high and let down so much. Is this finale really as good as they say it is? Are they going to blow it in the second part? Sorry if I seem like a dick but I just don't have much free time lately to watch TV.
The next episode ends where World Enough and Time started with Capaldi fully regenerating into Kris Marshall, with the caption, 'Introducing as Next Doctor' before he snaps back to Capaldi - trying to defeat the change. And then the credits roll.
Screencap this.
It's Steven "fuck you" Moffat, what do you think?
The Master went back to Gallifrey and fought Rassilon. Rassilon at one point regenerated (his new appearance in Heaven Sent), so I guess Master could get from this victorious and still on Gallifrey. And in Day of the Doctor the Gallifrey actually didn't get destroyed so Master lived. Probably fled to fuck with people. and then he got where we are now.
more like first good episode of several seasons. maybe a decade
don't remind me pls I have ptsd
Idk lol. World enough time is fantastic though, first spooky Capaldi episode too imo, you'll have to wait till next week to find out.
but the bitter taste of retcon makes me cringe even if really good episode
Moffat could have respected more Tenth Planet
At this point i'm convinced the christmas episode will be set in 13's head, like the Sherlock special set in Sherlock's mind palace. But he'll still have the face of 12 in the ep because the regen isn't complete yet and it will be about him coming to terms with the change etc
r8 my OC
first good episode of doctor who haha am I as funny as you are??
jesus. now i remember why i hate /who/ so much
>retcon makes me cringe
But it's not a retcon.
youtube.com
youtube.com

>the one you left for dead
did the Doctor really leave Simmaster for dead or was Missy just fucking with him to confuse him
I hated Heaven Sent at first, cause I expected something else. I liked it the second time around, cause I wasn't pissed of that it's about Clara.
Next week will probably be rubbish, cause I loved this one, and the expectations are super high.
brigadier is the valeyard?
fucking inglip
>THE CYBER BRIG WAS A THING
we don't know yet
but the new cybes there reaks of retcon
Monks are back for Christmas
>not Sneed's Feed and Seed
No he doesn't, he shoots the motherfucker with lightning from the other side of the room and light fills up the whole room. If that means the breach sucked him in then there's no reason why the Doctor couldn't get sucked in either.
>where do you think he went
Out the fucking door, he had no reason to stay anymore.
Nowhere was it shown he ended up back there. And the whole point of End of Time was for 10 to regenerate.
>Are they going to blow it in the second part?
probably. get back to me next week and i will confirm it.
this ep was no heaven sent though. just a very creepy episode, with a lovely dark sense of humour
hahaha
Not my OC but your wish is my command.
Remind me again how meta-crisis Doctor isn't the Valeyard?
I still hope that it isn't shit and Moffat finally gets an uber GOAT finale to both this series and his run
...
Christ, I thought that fanfic season finale Journey's End was bad
Series 9 OST fucking when
they look like the proudest parents
Well, he let him go to fight Rassilon and didn't go after him to help, so he might think he left him.
It's either gonna be Kris Marshall or Tom Rosenthal isn't it
But HB is better than Journeys End
when Murray Gold makes more than two new tracks a season
jesus fucking Christ, I'll quote the fucking script if you are too dumb to infer from what you see on the screen:
>MASTER:
You did this to me! All of my life! (uses other hand) You made me! (with each bolt, he steps closer) One! Two! Three! FOUR!
>The MASTER is within the pull of the link and gets sent back to Gallifrey with the others.
Only if you are mentally unstable
Same here. But I feel like this finale will end on a cliffhanger and with the Christmas Special will be actually a three parter.
Why were the spoilers saying Missy is the Master from the far future? Just because she can't remember the events? It's more likely that she'd just forgotten, like how the Doctor didn't remember saving Gallifrey until he did it as 11.
Consider the following:
> No Clara in sight
> Miss AND Simm Master
> Cybermen out the ass, actually a threat unlike in Death in Heaven
> Nadole antics
> Doctor interacting with TWO Masters
Already sounds like it'll be better than Hell Bent. Moffat will want to go out with a bang, I doubt this episode will be anything less than 7-8/10 at worst.
subtext is not text
probably sometime after this series is over
I wonder if and how they'll fit S9, both Christmas specials and S10 into all this
or if they're gonna put Husbands, Mysterio and this year's Christmas special out as a CD of it's own next year
It's Marshall, it's nor Rosenthal, he denied it on twitter.
If the Time Lords meet their future self they don't remember that. That's how it always worked in every multi Doctor story.
The dweam is dead
>That's how it always worked in every multi Doctor story.
But 2 remembered Omega
>WE WUZ TIME LORDZ
In this nu-who retcon, would regenning as a back be an omen to ones self
controversial opinion: modern Doctor Who does not start with "Rose" but rather, "Remembrance of the Daleks"
Biggest ever Who twist incoming.
At the end of the episode the doctor regenerates. Turns out he (and therefore the Valeyard) is The Master
He is told exactly what is going to happen by Simm before he regenerates which means not only did he turn Bill into the first cyberman, but he is responsible for everything the Master has done and that the first female Doctor was Missy who is the latest incarnation of the Doctor. She will regenerate into Clair Sweeney in the Christmas special.
The latest incarnation should remember though, so why doesn't Missy click if she is after Simm? Maybe she's actually just forgotten because she's 30 regenerations away from Simm or the black hole is fucking with the timelines?
so why do Two and Three have an everlasting grudge every time they're together
comedic banter?
It wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't speak in that stupid patois londonistani accent
>implying it didn't start with The Curse of Fatal Death
>The Master kills The Doctor
>Missy feels bad about it
>witnessing her oldest friend dying turns her good
>she kills The Master
>The Master regenerates into Missy
>Newly regenerated Missy starts harvesting Cybermen for the 3W institute
SCREENCAP THIS
>still no kinoreview from /areguy/
About Bill's voice in the trailer
We don't know if this means Bill gets out alive or not, it could just be a simple case of The Doctor modifing her Cyber-speech patterns to speak ''fluent normal'', you just know Bill is going to join their side, I think we even saw a photo of a Cyberman helping out the Doc some weeks ago
>this level of reaching
11 didn't remember how to save Gallifrey until they were right there doing it though. Missy is going into this adventure not remembering anything, just as the Doctor does when he meets his past selves.
This is honestly retarded and you should gas yourself
Or it could just be fancy narrative voiceover stuff.
Sounds about right. Is that Young Bill in the trailer though?
We don't know exactly how long she has been Missy or if when changing to another sex this also affects a timelords memory. There can be other reasons too, Doctor Who has had his memory wiped of people or events a few times before so it would seem quite easy to do this to a timelord.
Could be a flashback as well. I really think she'll get de-cybered though.
>everyone complaining about how the cybermen still had their human faces and eyes
>nobody notices the tear that came from the cyberman's eye
>the one that rolled down Bill's cheek
It was obviously the camera looking at Bill's imagination of her own face
Dr will either get the monks to un-cyber her (like how they cured his blindness), or that water girl from ep1 will come back and save her somehow
Why do ya'll want Bill to die so fucking badly? Like, Jesus, you guys should just walk around with 'I hate blacks!' tattooed on your foreheads. Real subtle.
But Nardole is the Valeyard
Why was Bill so fine with being trapped in a hospital with rasputin for 10 years
No, Nardole is the Watcher.
I just think it would be good for a companion to die
And unfortunately for Bill the last few have been pretty enough that I want to keep them around for muh dick reasons and she isn't.
The Watcher is the Valeyard
and they're both Nardole
STRAWBERRY BLONDE HUSBANDO
But all of Moffats companions have died.
Wouldn't it be different this time if she lived
she really didn't have a choice, did she
So... did Bill fuck The Master?
There's a rumour that Bill's gay, so I doubt it.
The Doctor: it's the end, but the moment has been prepared for.
Cyberbill: he was Doctor - all the time
it's a Matrix simulation, the regeneration at the beginning of the episode was not a flash forward to the Christmas special but, rather to the episode this Saturday. Just as everyone watching is all "This is going to be the fucking cliffhanger, isn't it?" when Doctor Who's regenerating suddenly it cuts to Doctor Who on a table with Time Lords surrounding him. Doctor Who is pulled out of The Matrix and one of the Time Lords remarks something to the effect of, "Alright then, Doctor Who, it's time for the real deal."
