Come and See

Johnny Got His Gun. GOAT in this category.
Serbian Film. Honorable mention.

I remember as a kid watching a film on the tv really late at night. I only remember bits of it, with the main scene being where a woman is abducted by a group of men and she is forced to fuck a tree and dies!

It also had a scene where a woman was tied up and cut up, i think it was a 70's film. It had a general pshycadelic feel to it.

I'm been trying to find the name of it for the last 10 years...

What's the story behind this Pepe anyway?

the hunt

In terms of violence I'd say Martyrs, Cannibal Holocaust and a Serbian Film.

Idk bout the tree fucking or psychedelic atmosphere but maybe it was last house on the left? One girl is forced to piss her self when the two girls get kidnapped raped/killed by 3 attackers.

Maybe your mind just exaggerated everything you tried to remember from the movie. Idk that's the only thing I can think of

the grifter

I remember that meme!

I once saw a movie about teenage prostitution and child abductions
I remember this one seen where a girls infront of a camera with these rocket tits and told to suck her thumb and call herself a baby
pretty fucked up movie
I don't remember the name

I mean psychologically disturbing like it makes you freak out

Session 9 for reasons which would spoil it.

What's really disturbing are these captchas. Enough already.

Uncle Buck.

Watch it without any interruptions. They used real blood in this movie.

Army Dog.

Benny's Video. Anything by Haneke, really. I hate that guy.

Yesterday it happened to me. I watched Antichrist and it was an incredibly dark, raw and despairing film. It was filmed in a way that I'd never experienced before.

Without giving away the entire plot, the movie is about a couple who retreats to a small house they have in the woods, in an attempt to escape the difficult time they're going through. The husband, who is a therapist, also wants to help his wife who is suffering from depression due to a recent trauma.

I couldn't watch it all in one sitting. I watched the second half the next day.

The intensity of the film, the eerie symbolism, the crazy love the husband has for his very mentally unstable wife, the haunting cinematography... it was too much.

I experience depressive feelings now and again, and after watching an hour of this film, I was 'triggered' into feeling extremely depressed myself. I cried for about half an hour and kept thinking about my own desire for passionate intimacy. I had suicidal thoughts and felt deep, emotional pain in my heart as I started hyperventilating.

So did Pieces but that turned out to be one of the funniest movies ever made.

Funny games
Cutting moments
The abc of death (has some nasty moments)
A serbian film
Zombie flesh eaters. (The eye scene)

Beyond the gates (the african one)

I Spit on Your Grave?

Men Behind the Sun

I heard Wilem Dafoe cums blood after getting hit in the balls in it.

That movie was boring as fuck, the only good scene was when the hallway lights started shutting off one by one

>L is for Libido

Fucking hell.

These are not gonna do it for ya OP
Try snowtown, jack ketchums the girl next door, the addiction, threads, those have the bleakness I suspect you're looking for.

Fuck! Was about to ask if it was the one. Christ! Why? I was interested af thanks to but the thought of this alone almost makes me throw up. A shame I won't be able to experince this.

Fucking L

You're a fag if you don't wanna see that.

...

Yes, his crazy wife jerks him off after he got hit in the balls so he cums blood

Only saw the zygote one. Actually comical and erotic... until she starts crunching her bones and organs.

God I wish that were me.

I wanna see the movie, but my balls are so sensitive even just seeing this would make them hurt.

Memes aside, isn't this one surprisingly emotional?

this

>movie premiered while i was still in high school
>won tickets to go see it at a fancy art cinema on it's premire night
>sat between fancy as fuck art hipsters and the press
>ended up laughing out loud at the speaking fox-scene
>everybody turned around and looked at me disapprovingly
>tfw the movie was litterally 2deep4me and I didn't get it all

Haven't seen it since.

No it just turns into a really forced Its A Wonderful Life knockoff halfway through.

Cannibal holocaust maybe?

Noone fucks a tree in cannibal holocaust. evil dead maybe?

>Treads
>The Hunt
>Fail-Safe
>The Vanishing (Spoorloos)

Last House on the Left?

>ended up laughing out loud at the speaking fox-scene
>everybody turned around and looked at me disapprovingly

based

So basically
>tfw no gf
?

id like too know as well

Adam Sandler is the best living actor and film-maker alive.

why did you guys rec me serbian film this was amusing. I meant movies where your pulse goes up because it's so tense, something that makes you genuinely terrified

D*** D***

>The Vanishing (Spoorloos)
Second that
Why did you listen to the summerfags
Also fuck whicheverone of you recommended borgamn to me earlier in a horror thread, I just saw it and it blows anus.

Just watched this because you recommended it. What an absolute fucking ride. A solid 8.5/10 at least.
The petite mort after he murders the girl is so effective. It genuinely feels as though this man has died in a metaphorical way and is resurrected afterwards only to die again later

I tried to and got scared in the first few minutes.
That's never happened to me before.

Krisha

funny games is a strong contender for me. its just so brazenly nihlistic.

Probably the most revoulting

Men Behind the Sun

Wouldn't philosophy of a knife, guinea pig or august underground be worse tho? I mean, the fucked up part about unit731 is it really happened, but the other ones have better gore.

>it really happened
This is what makes it more disturbing to me. Also, something about the lo-fi nature of the sfx freaks me out as well.

just finished it, I used to work in a nursery so it was even worse

what happens to him is my greatest fear

The Evil Dead has treefucking but none of that other stuff

Maybe like 3 films have melted together in your head?

>This is what makes it more disturbing to me.
well, good news, philosophy of a knife is based on the same shit. also Snowtown and The Girl next Door/American Crime which I previously recommended are based on real crimes.

Oldboy, 2001: Space Odyssey, Clockwork Orange, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Persona, American History X, Deer Hunter, The Game, IRREVERSIBLE
Oh, yeah.

The best guesses in this thread are
and maybe
at a push

>i think it was a 70's film. It had a general pshycadelic feel to it.
Last House on Dead End Street (1977)

>the main scene where a woman is abducted by a group of men and she is forced to fuck a tree and dies!
Really pushing here, (my best guess is you're mixing memories of Evil Dead and LHotL) but here's a scene from The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1977):
She flees as the Phantom beats Roy, but he catches her and ties her hands around a tree. Roy awakens, but is shot to death while attempting to escape. The Phantom attaches a pocket knife to the distal end of the slide of Peggy's trombone and kills her while "playing" the instrument by repeatedly projecting the slide-with-knife forward into her back while she is tied to the tree
Again, massive stretch. Still fits the aesthetic described though, unlike Cherry Falls (2000), which's well outside the period but does, if memory serves, feature a trippy gang rape scene in the woods late in the film

It's a comedy, you got it, everyone else didn't.
Not memeing. Seriously, a fucking talking fox, how people thought it was unironic I'll never understand.
Sidebar, friend of mine loved horrors but wanted to appear culture, chose to watch a foreign movie on a first date. He brought her to see Antichrist in the cinema

I saw the devil
Zodiac
Noroi

Martyrs
Enter the Void
Eden Lake
Inside

>all this edge
Gore and brutal violence is "disturbing" on the surface but its always so fucking shallow. Martyrs is literally the most overrated film of all time and Serbian Film is genuinely terrible as well. They thrive on controversy rather than any actual substance.
Cannibal Holocaust is very similar but it was groundbreaking at the time so it gets a pass.

this was a big influence on Gaspar Noe, especially the camerawork. If you liked the internal monologue aspect, watch I Stand Alone.

you do understand that the message of the film was that those types of films are awful right?

Flower of flesh and blood would be my guess for your second one

>girl next door
nah
bleakness and blatant emotional manipulation is not the same as disturbing.

Kinœ

The tenant

>Martyrs is literally the most overrated film of all time
Nah, it's actually one of the better gornos out there and you haven't seen a really shit flick like wrong turn 4 or leprechaun in space yet. Or maybe you're just a faggot with an overinflated sense of self-worth..
>Cannibal Holocaust is very similar but it was groundbreaking at the time so it gets a pass.
Yup, checks out.

i dont understand
are you actually trying to imply Cannibal Holocaust is some super deep work of art? Its fucking not. As an important footnote in horror film history its worth a mention but thats it.
Martyrs is just fucking nothing. Its an overrated film of an overrated trend.
High Tension is the superior french ultraviolence film anyway.

how the fuck is it emotionally manipulative? It shows what actually happened.
The fact that shit like this can be perpetrated by children in a seemingly normal suburb without anyone noticing is pretty disturbing if you aren't a total autist.

>are you actually trying to imply Cannibal Holocaust is some super deep work of art?
No, but for the actual animal kills, the raw gore and the fact it started the found footage trend that goes on to this day and is still the best horror flick in that category, it deserves more than a "pass".
>Martyrs is just fucking nothing
Then how would you rate hostel, the later saw flicks, etc? Martyrs is clearly a great torture porn, if you don't like the genre that's like, your problem, dude.
High Tension is great, but it's a slasher, so it doesn't really compare at all in pace or tone. But if you liked it you might wanna check out Frontiers(s). .

Martyrs may very well be the greatest torture porn ever but torture porn is literally the worst trend in cinema history so i wouldnt put much weight on that accomplishment.
Hostel and Saw are all terrible but nobody pretends like they are anything more. People do that with Martyrs to a frustrating degree.
All that shit about Cannibal Holocaust is true, i didnt mean to be so dismissive when i said it deserves a pass. Its a shitty genre for the most part but Cannibal Holocaust does deserve credit for how much it impacted film history.

Fuck this movie

Not as disturbing as some others but more compelling

>Breathless (Hangul: 똥파리; RR: Ddongpari; literally "shitfly") is a 2008 South Korean film by Yang Ik-june and the story revolves around child abuse and loan sharking. A loan shark named Sang-Hoon finds himself striking a friendship with a troubled schoolgirl, Yeon-Hee, as he faces his own troubled past with his abusive father.

>Martyrs may very well be the greatest torture porn ever but torture porn is literally the worst trend in cinema history
As I said, if you don't like it you can go on watching slashers or whatever, but Martyrs is one of the few Gornos that has a working plot, characters and cinematography. The only other one I could cite right now is the loved ones.
Good thing we can at least kinda agree on Cannibal Holocaust, although I gotta say I mostly like it due to how impossibly fucked up and sleazy it seems, even nowadays. I don't know if any director will ever have the balls to make something that gruesome and unexpected again.

Also Audition and Imprint by Takashi Miike

Checked, and seconded.

Just finished this based on your recc user, very nice movie

Teeth
Trainspotting

Gozu is also kino

I feel like I am too desensitized to a lot of this shit though unless it involves children as victims perhaps because of my past and experiences with child abuse

...

I'm Slavic and found this one pretty dull, desu. Just came off very propaganda-ish.

The Killer Inside Me

Was a good film, but was pretty disturbing to me, or maybe unnerving.

My first time watching this I was about 12 just a few days after discovering masturbation and made the mistake thinking this was gonna be a porno because it was on Cinemax the same time most pornography aired on that channel.

A Serbian Film

shits been banned in several countries, has gore and several types of rape and sexual violence including pedophile incest necrophilia

That movie goes so overboard it just becomes unintentionally hilarious because it's so absurd.

thats the point

Yeah but that's not disturbing it's just goofy like a 15 year old online trying to convince people online that he's a psychopath by just stringing together as much edgy stuff as possible in one sentence.

>I cried for about half an hour and kept thinking about my own desire for passionate intimacy

So it's a movie about me browsing Sup Forums for an hour?

yea fuck it for being extremely boring.

Aside from the rotating shot shown in the trailer it's absolute drivel.
Reading about the guy they got in to film the penis scene was pretty cool though

it worked though. movie made a shit load. director got fame. and he brought attention to the horrible realities of serbia the worldwide jew media was suppressing.

stay mad kiddo.

Spasojevic no one cares about the message in your movie they just like to discuss how ridiculous it gets.

yup but that doesn't mean it wasn't an incredibly dark watch even with all of its post modern trappings
