About to watch Rise of the Guardians for the first time. Wish me luck.

I wouldn't call it a bad film looking at it as a standalone piece, but when you discover the source material and the much cooler concepts from the earlier drafts, the movie's flaws get magnified and you just see all the Wasted Potential.

It's enjoyable enough but is pretty accurate. It could have been better.

Who doesn't know about the Boogeyman?

>That origin story

Fuck me.

What sauce and where can I find it?

Pitch seems kinda into Jack.

Book series called the Guardians of Childhood, split between youth novels and picture books

Movie is lame

Also why is the tooth fairy a hummingbird

Thank you user

Because they are fast, small, and unnoticeable.

It was good. The animations was great and the storytelling was smooth. Strong standalone film.

Author decided to blend the Tooth Fairy with a Hindi mythological creature called a Kinnari. Sort of a harpy version of the Muses.

Did you expect her to be like the sand man except with teeth?

it was okay. the animation was real eye candy when it wasnt CONSTANTLY ROTATING CAMERA and the story was meh

It didn't do well in the box office but it has a very loyal fanbase

For shits and giggles i always go and search for fanfiction of a fandom to see how cancerous it is. Why the hell do so many people ship Jack with the Easter Bunny when the Tooth Fairy has a fetish for him?

You don't like reading about a mutant bunny fucking a boy? are you gay or something?

The only thing I give this movie is that Jack Frost's ice powers look way nicer than Elsa's.

I'll have you know i watched Zootopia three times. And it was some good shit.

When watching it, keep reminding yourself that the Guardians only protect children in 1st world countries. Its a lot more entertaining when you have that as your headcanon.
At least it was for me.

Jesus Christ that actually made me laugh.

...

And the fandome is crazy, more news at 11

I love this movie. It gives off strong Rankin/Bass vibes, and the visuals still hold up. It might be my personal favorite DreamWorks movie.

Why is the fanbase so cringe? I mean I know why, but seriously.

I always thought Dreamworks should do more theatrical shorts.
Then they can visit some of their older properties, in particular, making Guardians shorts about different holidays.

There is too little porn of Toothiana

Movie was shit. Fantastic animation cannot save its retarded plot.

He is too shonen

They bring it on themselves for not believing in Santa.
