Thorytime: The World-Eaters

IT'S THURSDAY
LETS STORYTIME SOME THOR

...

...

...

Why is thor a man?

Is this a good one?

...

I think so yes.

Funnily enough i was planning to do this today anyway. The "Thor's back!" announcement's a nice coincidence.

...

...

...

...

...

This story arc isn't bad. But this one as a whole is one of the most underwhelming runs of Thor I've eve read

...

Also the art is great.

Oh yeah btw this was the first Thor story post-Siege. Hence why Asgard's in ruins and Loki's dead as fuck.
Probably should have prefaced with that.

I really liked it on the whole. But yeah other than this one I wouldn't buy any trades. Any even then, I wouldn't go out of my way.

Also this yes.
I saw some Ferry art last week that reminded me I intended to do this storytime.

WHAT!?
You better not be joking.

Search the catalog, man. "The Unworthy Thor" is going to be one of the Marvel NOW launch titles.

Laptop's wheezing up a storm. Gimme a few minutes to let it cool down.

OY VEY! LOOK AT THIS NUDNIK!

Ahhhh shit I forgot Kellllllda Widow of Bill Son of Bills was in this.
Yeah the more I think about it the more it relies on context.
I just really like the art and the titular "World Eaters" concept.

I remember this being around the time I stopped reading Thor, how did they resolve the whole kid Loki thing?

...

...

Ahahaha.
Haha.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Suffering. That's how.

But seriously he got his own series called Journey Into Mystery, written by Kieron Gillen. It's really fuckin' good, highly recommended. And ended up continuing in the form of another really fuckin' good, highly recommended comic Loki Agent of Asgard.
