Supporting characters you never want to see again?
And most of all, is anyone NOT sick of how EVERY character now has to be a fucking superhero and no one can hang out with regular people anymore?

>Which are the best ones?
Superman and Batman? Would anyone even disagree with this? Spider-Man's is solid as well. I can't think of any others that even come close to those.
Jace Murphy
I always liked that police officer and nurse from New Mutants who were changed into Native Americans.
Josiah Reyes
Flash.
Jackson Ramirez
Y'know who's supporting cast (and rogues gallery as well for that matter) is insanely underrated?
The Punisher. He's got Microchip, Shadowmasters, a bunch of allies and civilians that he's associated with. Really some cool characters.
Brody Parker
I forgot about the Flash Family. If you count all the pre-New 52 characters then yeah it's pretty high up on the list.
Dominic Smith
I maintain that one of the elements of more enduring cape books is having a well-rounded and consistent supporting cast.
Superman, Batman, Spider-Man all have a large cast of characters they surround themselves with outside of their superhero activities. Other characters will have some, but they're often not consistent or there's not much variety to them.
Atlantis has never become Aquaman's Gotham because we don't know anyone that lives there.
Jason Price
dis nigga gets it
Luke Cruz
Des Taylor needs to draw more.

>And most of all, is anyone NOT sick of how EVERY character now has to be a fucking superhero and no one can hang out with regular people anymore?
Nah, it makes for good comedy when done properly (JLI), or when it shows how no one's immune to the sphere of weirdness superheroes tend to generate (Anybody remember Outburst?). Or to show how insular and closed off a superhero's life can be (any modern Marvel comic) Or if you're the Black Canary/Flash Family.
Honestly I'm more annoyed that when a character that doesn't normally have a supporting cast gets one, it usually executed by writers who don't have a solid grasp of how they're supposed to relate to the main character and his world, and come off as mere extensions of the main character, or just caricatures that fill up valuable page space.
Anyway, posting the REAL best supporting character ever.
Colton Bailey
JLI is different though. That was supposed to be about superheroes hanging out.
Michael Nelson
Hulk is underrated
Rick Jones Doc Samson Glenn Talbot Thunderbolt Ross
Half of them are dead and the last one has been cucked by idiots misunderstanding the character but wow they are great
Daniel Foster
Say what you will about Byrne, but his Man of Steel arc is great. It was the very first Superman comic I read as a kid and that Lois gave me funny feelings.
Gabriel Gonzalez
Byrne in the 80s could almost do no wrong, West Coast Avengers excluded.
Henry Miller
Point taken.
I think part of the issue with him though is that Hulk was nomadic for so long. So it was hard to maintain a recurring cast.
Jason Lewis
>Atlantis has never become Aquaman's Gotham because we don't know anyone that lives there. Hey man, Aquaman has Mera.
Motherfucking MERA.
Ethan Torres
They are always on his trail in most proper stories to react or interact with the Hulk and Banner. Also I excluded Betty since she has never ever been quality outside of PAD
Samuel Davis
It's a lot harder to have a large cast follow a rampaging Hulk around than to just have a couple of guys.
Jaxson Smith
All you need is a couple characters for a solo title
Sebastian Wilson
Yeah, but that's besides the point. This is just about why Hulk didn't have a larger supporting cast.
William Wilson
ultimate peter parker had one of the best
Adrian Mitchell
pic related
Jonathan Morgan
Yeah, but that's just Spider-Man.
Andrew Rivera
I really wanted this to last longer. But the moment Mysterio switched himself with Peter I dropped it. I can't stand villains taking over hero's life and fucking it up without anyone noticing. Guess when I dropped the spiderman mainline
Tyler Anderson

Alfred is by far the best

>hahahaha time for cu.cking superman someone shoop her, potential meme
Oliver Martin
Jimmy Olsen
Woozy Winks
Foggy Nelson
Fuck you they're all great.
Dominic Stewart
I still think the Bruce/Rick/Clay Quarteramain days were the best time for the Hulk's supporting cast.
Just three guys in a van bouncing off each other by day, and two guys trying to keep the Gray Hulk from bouncing them around by nightfall.
Christopher Myers
Captain Marvel's Golden Age cast was fucking amazing even if they all had powers.
