Why is it so good bros?

Why is it so good bros?

It had soul behind it, poor suburbial families were well represented in here even if a little bit exaggerated for comedy purposes but it was cathartic as fuck.

Just plain good writing that captured the spirit of its time. I still haven't seen another half-hour show that could juggle 4+ stories as effectively as Malcolm.

what are the best HAL episodes

Hal dancing
Hal making a robot
Hal getting a job with the men in black
Damm all Hal episodes are top tier

Hal and the bodybuilders

I always used to confuse the dad with the guy from Baking Bread

>Rollerskating
>Steamroller
>Racewalking
>Bodybuilders
>The one where he's fattening up Lois while she's pregnant
>The one where he and Abe try to solve a murder
>The poker episodes

You know what, just rewatch the show

Episodes with Francis visiting were very comfy. It really transmited that feeling of the whole family being together.

This

The Polish heritage.

>the one where he and Abe try to solve a murder
this was a good Lois episode too

All of them.

Hal

Is there a decent torrent of Malcolm?

Netflix

it was not. everyone was a cunt and people only like it because they too have shit families

What comedies are you watching where every character is a kind, respectful person?

Yer a cunt

Bowling episode was 100% single camera kino

>the L stands for value
This always drove me bonkers. What L? How does L stand for value? Is that the joke?

Based on his taste, really fucking shitty ones

>People only like a show because it's well written and true to life

Quality of show did dip after Reese came back from war.

Preteen Deweys acting so fucking horrendous

Nerds were no longer in the show and instead paid Hayden Pantetiere to be on the show

No best girl Cynthia

>The krelboynes never got a proper send off

Feels bad man

Bryan

The scene where Hal's poker friends scare Ida out of the house was the peak of the entire series.

Are you a retard?

Is this the only show that doesnt take skin colour as a factor at all? Theres no stereotypical shit. Everyone just feel the same regular people with theyr own problems.
Its fucking amazing to think how much this show got right.

*hal runs around spasmodically screaming at a high pitch*

At least Dabney got his own episode before they all disappeared.

If you turn a 'V" 90 degrees, it's an 'L'. Duh.

Speaking of Malcolm in the Middle, I'm curious: What years does one have to be born in to be an "early 2000s kid"?

YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME

NOW

The "Ell" stands for V"Ell"ue

The ones where he wasn't a caricature and buffoon...so none. He came close to ruining the show.

No one likes you.

>that episode where Hal's family makes Lois cry and the boys take revenge

Pure kino. The series should've ended here.

Pretty sure it's the same guy

>That episode where Hal and the boys defend lois's honor by fighting a bunch of clowns

The show really understood families

'87-'91

>Hal and the bodybuilders

>mfw sir scoops alot was actually in the episode

i shit myself when i realized it

That's early 2000s teens you're thinking of. By kid I mean 5-10

I love how you can see Dewey take a little breath before they go under

>Life is a fair
What did they mean by this?
