does the "mir" in the end of many slavic names have any meaning or is it just a way to end them?
'Mir' means 'peace' or 'the world'
yooo muslim slavs look so weird to me
'Vladimir' -- 'vladet', 'mir' -- conquere the world
Igor. Just like to pronounce it, dunno why
mir means "peace" in serbocroatian or "world" in russian, but "-mir" was also an ending in old germanic names, and it meant "glorious, glory", just like the ending "-slav" in slavic names, or "-cles" in greek names (pericles, heracles)
I hope you know that it should be pronounced as "eegor", not "aygor"
He's probably a russian guy named Igor himself.

I kind of admire the name "Shura". It manages to be 100% Slavic despite being a diminutive form of a Greek name.
No, Hans = John = Ivan = jewish bullshit.
Real German names are the ones like Wolfgang, Friedrich, Helmuth, etc.
Real slavic names only, please.
Haтaшa :3

Yes, Artyom is nice
Vladislav
Nah, it's boring and tasteless
t. Artiom
It's not originally slavic though, this name is a slavified fom of greek name Artemios.
But in Serbian there is both Ivan and Yovan(John). Ivan is sort of an adjective name like Gvozden(made of iron) or Ognyen(made of flame).
Grzegorz
Hey I'm Artiom too
Are u gay as well?
Adolf
Alexander
>Real slavic names only, please.
Artyom isn't slavic? How come
>No, Hans = John = Ivan = jewish bullshit.
>Real German names are the ones like Wolfgang, Friedrich, Helmuth, etc.
Errm, for real? Please elaborate, I wonder when & where should the name be used first to comply with your view point.
IMO if a name is extremely popular in slavic countries and nowhere else we can conclude it's a slavic name. We are living now and not then.
Maul halten!
Geboren?
>t. Apтём
That's an awful name and that's mine name :\ Fucking ameritards can't say anything close to it. I have to introduce myself as Thomas, otherwise it's hard to understand whom are they addressing to.
Dimitri

BORIS
It's was a popular name 20-30 years ago.

>Artyom isn't slavic?
No.
>How come
See this, >IMO if a name is extremely popular in slavic countries and nowhere else we can conclude it's a slavic name.
You opinion is wrong, it's not about popularity.
>We are living now and not then.
Oh g-d, what a retard. If in 10 years from now most of young people in Moscow will be called like Muhammad, Rasul and Ahmed, you'd be claiming these are slavic names too?
my name is edin, but i like the name "zlatan"
It's Actualy Yuriy, not Yuri. Юpий, Й which sounds like Y on the end.
