>"Britain would prosper outside the EU" >"By leaving the EU we can pay 350M euros a week to finance social security"
4 years later
>"About the 350M I think it was mistake"
NHS today :
>In crisis, UK hospitals cancel all non-urgent operations in January >Patients piled up in the corridors, medical teams on the verge of a nervous breakdown, an old lady who died after waiting four hours for an ambulance... >The deficit of UK-trained hospital staff has so far been offset by the settlement of Europeans (14% of nurses in London are "continental"). But Brexit has begun to provoke an exodus of the nursing staff and to dry up the recruitment.
Academic :
>2300 Continental Europeans postgraduate student have left the country in 2017 >The UK decision to leave the EU is starting to leak European academic talent, with a 19% rise in departures >As for the number of European students to apply for a British university, it also fell by 5% in September 2017
Economy :
>The biggest financial companies go to Paris or Frankfurt to continue to have the EU financial passport >Theresa May, who has to pay a 60 billion euro bill to the EU to gain access to the single market during the EU withdrawal procedure
"Freedom" from EU
>European leaders are lashing the UK to hold their commitment and follow the procedure properly
In the end the United Kingdom will be forced to open his ass to continue to access the single market. Taking a model on Norway. Norway is like a member of the EU, it pays huge sums to the EU (close to a member's contribution) to access the market BUT unlike an EU member Norway has NO DECISION-MAKING POWERS
THE BREXIT WILL BE SOLVED BY A COLOSSAL LOSS OF DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM OF DECISION, WITHOUT SPEECHES OF ECONOMIC, ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL REPERCUSSIONS
Jose Gutierrez
I take heart in knowing that no one has done more to help socialism prevail in the UK than Farage and May. Corbyn is seriously the only man who can save England at this point.
Dylan Sullivan
The British shall be welcome to use the cheap private healthcare sector in Poland. For a charge obviously

IT STARTS WITH one thing, I don't know why, it doesn't even matter how hard you try
Cooper Lee
Yea but at least (((Brussels))) won't be able to regulate their lightbulbs anymore.
Nathan Lee
England should join the USA Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, and Northern Ireland can come too

The scots hate Trump more than anyone in the UK.

They're going to vote again, mark my words. Same with Scotland. Only fascism can save them now.

It will benefit them in the long term. I know europhiles are still butthurt about them leaving, soon others will follow and the EU will finally collapse.
Liam Rodriguez
Except they will, you fucking idiot. It's still part of the free trade area and therefore its goods have to conform to EU standards. Even if it chooses to leave the market (which would be fucking retarded) to export their products would have to conform to EU standards as well, and given that the grand majority of British exports go to the (rest of the) EU they might as well just adjust their products to EU standards by default. The only way to be free of this is to stop trading with the EU altogether, which harms Britain more than the EU (which is why a soft Brexit is the most likely scenario). Had they remained in the EU, they could at the very least vote for or against lightbulb regulations.
I'd ask if you were stupid, but you're clearly American.

only if corbyn is pm. he is the only brexit leader with a spine and the determination to follow the public's will.

With Americans, Poe's law is a thing even outside of the internet.
Christopher Cruz
This.
>but, like, we’ve lost 2,000 students; and hospital waiting times are now an extra hour! And an old lady died!
inb4 comparison that UK losing Continental students is basically the same as when Nazi Germany lost all their scientists
Jordan Robinson
>EU will finally collapse.
No. And how a country like Germany or France can compete with China or USA without backup (EU) ?
Just accept that year after year, EU will be more and more united.
Cameron Morales
They won't collapse that's for certain, but how it will benefit them is something I don't see. The best case scenario is one where nothing really changes except the Uk no longer votes on laws and guidelines it's bound by. How is that an improvement in any capacity? Worst case scenario they're excluded entirely from their largest market, which will actually lead to the predicted scenario of large companies and banks leaving to secure access to the EU's free market.
Please explain what benefits you see in the long term.

So fourth reich of Merkel when? Also, when will the EU move its capital from Brussels to Berlin?

Sends a message to colored people; we’d rather live in poverty than have you coming to our island and pushing us around.
Basically the scorched earth policy Japan’s doing.
Adam Brown
Yea sure Macaron will be L'empereur of Europe
Jacob Wilson
France is the primate of EU, not Germany.
Samuel Collins
In fact it's not even a dick contest insde EU, to know who is the most influent. Europeans politicians know this. It's together that we will go forward
Ian Williams
Yes, it would be for the best.
Caleb Turner
>Sends a message to colored people Those colored people Leave actively tried to recruit by claiming "Commonwealth migration" could replace whatever is lost from European migration? Despite all the hate mongering, Leave isn't a proof of the "far right" rising in Britain. In fact it's the exact same lilylivered parties in charge of Britain that sold it out to brownies in the first place.
>Basically the scorched earth policy Japan’s doing. Except that's not what Japan is doing because unlike the British the Japanese aren't fucking retarded. They're opposing mass migration vehemently and even then their biggest migrant groups are Chinese and Koreans. And the Japanese fucking hate Koreans.
What Japan is going for is making up for the shrinking working class by boosting productivity per capita rather than taking in third worlders who will only live on welfare anyway. This is why they're pushing robotization so hard anyway, to effectively 'fill the role' of third world low IQ migrants who are too dumb to do any other jobs. One machine will be as effective as a hundred paki's but rape less and get less gibsmedat.
Liam Howard
Not the same guy but I don't really see why the UK joined the EC and made the Commonwealth obsolete in the first place if they knew that they would eventually leave.
The UK did not even attempt to use Euro and continued GBP and was not so willing to participate in the EU. Literally can't understand why they did not expand onto the Commonwealth rather than joining the EU. They are now having to build the Commonwealth from the scratch
Wyatt Ross
Cornwall is part of England you spazz

highly intelligent post

What will happen in 2045 ?

>Not the same guy but I don't really see why the UK joined the EC Because the majority of their trade has always been with Europe
>and made the Commonwealth obsolete It's not obsolete and in fact was never supposed to be a trade organization in the first place
>if they knew that they would evenetually leave They didn't fucking know that numbnuts
>The UK did not even attempt to use Euro and continued GBP and was not so willing to participate in the EU Same with Denmark and Sweden, and many Eastern European countries are hesitant about accepting the euro even when they become eligible. This means nothing.
>Literally can't understand why they did not expand onto the Commonwealth Because they trade more with France than New Zealand for reasons obvious to anyone who has seen a world map (read: not Americans).
Is Sup Forums your primary news source or something?
Jacob Robinson
Why are you all so bothered that we're leaving? It's almost like you'll miss us tehehe
Ian Gutierrez
it sets a precedent that could lead to the expansion of American influence over Europe, which is basically the worst possible thing that could happen.
Robert Peterson
Who here is bothered? Even OP is at worst expressing schadefreude, not frustration.
If anything it's the opposite. Look up why De Gaulle rejected Britain's application twice.
Cooper Morgan
>w-we're not b-bothered I p-promise
It's ok I'll miss you too... not heheheh

It's laughing at the misery of others, a very German concept indeed. It's basically the "I'm glad that's not me!" feeling that shit-tier shows like America's Funniest Home Videos relies on.

They actually never released the ones of his car missing a tire after it just came off while driving through a french highway.

Though, he did it before we got into the EU...

BREXIT was the way the Boomers could get in one last fuck the younger generations before they all cark it. It gives the old xenophobic fuckwits a sense of cultural victory before dying out. Truly the worst generation of humanity.
