I thought I was the only person to see this fine film.
Fuck yeah it does.
Akira
I like Dragon Heart but the soundtrack stole the show in my opinion. It just hits you all over the place and is swelling with epic adventurous emotion.
Requiem for a Dream
no country for old men
Singin' in the Rain
I see what you did there
that metropolis anime movie had a great soundtrack

barry lyndon
Interstellar

don't get me wrong user, I love Barry and Kubrick but even 2OO1 has a better soundtrack and it's strictly classical
Unironically Dumb and Dumber
Koyaanisqatsi
Joe Dirt
Agreeing with this. If you need a cool ass retro workout playlist this is it. Just wonderfully done 80's build up/pump up synth with banging beats.
THIS.

Office Space and Crank come to mind, but prolly because they suit the movie. As far as listening to on it's own Reservoir Dogs is pretty sweet but that had the K.Billy radio thing so it's maybe cheating.

This place fucking sucks ass just kill this shithole of a site already. No discussion just mindless children repeating memes and buzzwords and fat ugly losers circlejerking. Didn't used to be like this. I remember when you couldn't keep track of your post because so much discussion was going on. I'm done. Inb4 you wont be missed
Zodiac has a really great soundtrack. I'd marathon that movie and would anticipate the songs coming up.
Santana during the credits/mail room scene was perfect. Its also very fitting because Santana is from the bay area.
Inherent Vice also has a solid soundtrack. Neil Young, Can, Sam Cooke.
Boogie Nights was my favorite PTA soundtrack until I.V. came along

Blade runner, SW episode 3
Yup. Although I never listened to disc 2.

All memes aside I do agree with you. You still find it in threads here and there but there's definitely been a drop in discussion over the last few years.
you mean "all spaghetti westerns with music by Ennio Morricone or people who worked with him and sound like him", right?
I agree
I'd also add it has to do with the way the movies are cut and paced.
You have 5 minutes of fantastic music while everyone is just silently staring at each other, creating incredible tension. Makes you appreciate the music even more.
suckerpunch
this
Donnie Darko
Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind
Eraserhead
Fightclub
American Beauty

In terms of compiled songs that weren't originally created for the movie, I'd pick the Big Lebowski as one of the better ones. In terms of music composed specifically for the film, I'd go with the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
