Is this the best "zombie" movie ever?
Is this the best "zombie" movie ever?
Yes, but only because most of the genre is terrible and the "classics" get by solely on nostalgia.
The sequel is okay
I respect your opinion, but how would you rate it?
no. shaun of the dead is.
7.6/10.
Weeks is a 6.4/10.
Also I forgot that exists so that's the best. Unless you don't count it cause it's a rom com and because it's not the best of the Cornetto trilogy, even though it's the one I like the most
More like the only decent one.
The premise of a powerful country getting destroyed and quarantined while the rest of the world moves on is the most interesting part imo and it should've been touched on more
Brain Dead
I'd say Train to Busan comes close second.
Terrible taste
BrainDead, Dawn of the dead(reboot and original), Rec, Dead Snow 1&2 are all high quality zombkino
28 Weeks Later is better
>play with naughty viruses
>git totally fukt
lmao karma
only white people man..
only white people
MDE audience alert.
It's the best non-Romero one. The early 2000's style and the ads make it look a lot more awkward now but the protagonist was definitely top-tier.
Not quite
This or Shaun of the Dead.
Fuck off
Shaun isn't "zombie" though. It's zombie.
Oh look its a thread by the guy who put this in his top 5 yesterday
smart man posting smart things for smart audiences
any other movie like this one?
No, it's shit as soon as Cillian runs into zombies. And the sequel is shit as soon as the opening sequence is over.
George Romero will be remembered as one of the great American directors, nobody will give a shit about Danny Boyle.
Nope Snyder dawn remake was amazing when it came out pre walking dead and its thousand replicas
It was great. 28 weeks later was awesome too, which is a shocker because sequels sometimes suck. But they changed it up and made the scale bigger, more fitting for a zombie outbreak.
Shame there will never be 28 months later.
I would say my favorite zombie movie was REC 1 and 2 though.
lmao0 LUCIO FULCI laughes
...
Knightriders >>>>> Slumdog Memeionaire
shit tier
28 days
Rec 1
Dawn of the dead
and now possibly Train to Busan
these would be amongst the genre top. pretty sad actually how rare decent movies for this genre are
28 weeks for only one reason
Pic related
>Train to Busan
Due to the speed of the virus, I choose to believe that Train to Busan is the rage virus in Korreer.
>ywn tootie her pootie
28 weeks later is shit (except for the first 5 mins, which are great). It has shaky mindphreak style editing, boring scenes and scenery, and dad as a super zombie that can pop up anywhere anytime defying logic, space and time.
this
Massive dip in quality once we get to the part where the whole movie leads up to a bunch of solders just trying to get some poon.
Dawn or Day are much better.
fucking THIS
>480p
Yeah, no.
I liked it, but it was also the first movie I saw with Cillian Murphy and his bizarre face. It probably is the best "zombie" movie I've ever seen, but that's really not saying much
the sequel was really odd and felt completely unnecessary; it didn't even feel like a finished movie
