Australia to become the ELEVENTH largest economy by 2030

Australia to become the ELEVENTH largest economy by 2030.
Are you ready to accept your new masters?
>"There's never been a more exciting time to be an Australian"

All thanks to hardworking Kiwi immigrants.

If our country is doing so well why can't I get a job then?

why do you keep on making these threads?

you will jump 2 spots? that's really impressive!!!!!

Cool shame the whole place will melt soon.

What will Canada be?

>Chinks buy up all the property and leave it empty
>"Economy is doing really well guys lol superpower by 2030!!"

Who cares fuck this place

Wow 11th biggest?? congrats man

Cantada

Basically this. No regulation of foreign nationals investing in property has doomed this country. Oh until we crash the market with no survivors

>Australien
>Bruttonationalprodukt

*gets annexed by China*

By that time you'll probably be like literally half Asian

At the current rate it would take another few hundred years for something like that to happen. Then again, you don't really fucking anything about Australia, do you?

and america will be a black hole that sucks anything that comes near in to the void of darkness forever

china is buying up all your land and businesses and infiltrating your government and military with hundreds of spies, but keep being in denial lmao

>eleveneth

Our economy is still garbage compared to pre-GFC. Just how shit is the rest of the world's economy wtf.

not real countries

Never dare to play Scrabble against a german

Where do you live?

We are the 9th largest economy in the world right now and we're still fucked. What's your point?

Other than the mines which are on borrowed time what else do we have?

North Brisbane

Based

Because the people telling you how good the economy is are only hiring Chinese and Indians.

Have you noticed how we now have real estate agencies that only advertise in Chinese?

Fucking loads of farmland and ocean. We can be Asia's breadbasket, fruit basket, fishing net as well as selling them whatever mineral they desire. Could probably sell them solar electricity too.

For a country of only 25 million australia kicks way above it's belt. Bravo australia.

Our Farmland barely gets by now, shit would hit the fan if it had to carry more economic load. It'd basically require us to sell farmland to chinks so they can do it themselves while we get a pittance.

imagine if we'd accually managed to natinoalise our resources and saw any of the benefits of it instead of all the profits going to multinationals overseas and to bogans buying big plasmas

So we're just gonna keep going with the direct resource export, what happens when global warming kicks our arse and makes farming unsustainable, when the el ninos become longer, worse and more frequent?
We can't indefinitely sustain ourselves by pulling shit from the earth, either. We either run out or its value falls.

What qualifies as an australian is pretty loose these days

Imagine if we didn't have a mentally handicapped leader who sold our gold reserves for literal dirt and also sold Telstra, probably because he was scared of the internet.

But Gina says things are great as they are, mate.

There's 24 million Australians. Canada has 40 and look at that

>bitchstamp calling anyone a non country

>Japan is the third largest economy
>nobody cares about Japan
I don't think it matters that much

>nobody cares about japan
Where do you think you are?

i would like her feet to work for $2 a day for her she earned that billions in inherited iron ore

Australia produces huge surpluses of food. To increase that further we need advanced industries and more water. The Chinese need to be kept out. Great customers, but not custodians.

Well Australia is well placed for extracting its immense resources. Global warming is a big worry. Advanced technologies may mitigate some of it, or mean we can work around it. Really we need cheap energy so we can start getting fresh water out the ocean and use it to increase the productivity of the land.

If resource extraction ceases to be viable, then we need to bulk up population wise a lot. Manufacturing makes little sense in such a sparsely populated, spread apart and isolated country. Services will always be profitable, especially as an English speaking nation we can export services globally.

Ah yes of course the (((economists))) are praising Australia's pro coolie anti australian direction for the future

Your wages and living standards will be as bad as ours at this rate

So when we're running out of resources, money, food and ways to generate all of them the answer is more people to look after?

I think Australia has two paths

Produce enough food and minerals to use ourselves, and trade the surplus for manufactured goods. This is the easy option.

Populate massively and produce manufactured goods ourselves, using our own resources and and export the surplus. Hard option.
