I guess?

>German's fear the Polish BULL

I find it hard to believe that the ottomans had 100000 men available in that point of history.

Shut the fuck up you stupid Romanian your poor gypsy shithole will fall under the control of the black TURKS very soon

...

they be afraid of CHERNO BOG

They had 100000 men available during the 1400's, by the end of the 16th century the empire was nearing it's population peak.

Prolly en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Suomussalmi

I dunno, there's too much battles to remember. I'd go with Battle of Rymnik.
Suvorov used the tactic that Napoleon later used in his Italian campaign, while austrians sat in their camp for half a battle. And yes, we were on the offensive.

Stalingrad? I mean if you lost that one god knows what would happen

>not posting the one where the m*gyaroid dogs got slaughtered

Are Turks the goons of history? Everyone's beating them with insane numerical disadvantages.

Well, the fighting itself was ruthless and lots of improvement in city fighting tactics was made, and the battle itself was very important etc etc, but in terms of strategy it was just a basic encirclement.

youtube.com/watch?v=-ZqwpU0lxUc

Nah that'd be persians.
Turks created a large empire and did surprisingly good in ww1.
>not Breitenfield
Meh.

>wallachia
t*rkoid puppet

>Stalingrad
Stalingrad was a technical victory. In numbers of soldiers the battle was pretty bad considering that they could just hold the river and bomb/starve the germans out of Stalingrad instead of sending thousands to die in waves for some hight ground.
Soviets lose almost the double of people and 3 times more tanks and airplanes.

You lost the war and Sweden never become a super power

I thought about posting that first. I certainly would have if we had to limit it to battles in wars we actually won.

Better than being annexed I guess. We got to avoid being culturally enriched by Islam.

Yeah but was a glorious victory.

I hate Stalin btw

nah, they were just waging war with everyone and that very often

Yes, the filename reflects that. It was still a smashing victory at the time.
I don't know if this is true but according to some legend I read, one Russian regiment that was present at the battle had the date stiched into their uniforms because they considered it their baptism in fire.

18 boats against several forts with a dozen of cannons in the margins, several units of infantry throwing in the banks of the river all defeated by the baron of the Amazonas

...

>glorious victory.
Nigger, They lost more than 1 million soldiers just to hold the "stalin pride".
At the end, was not the waves of Russians charging in vain the german machine guns that won the battle, was some poles cutting the supply lines and starving the Germans forcing them to surrender.
If the poles did not went full aloha snakbar, blowing train tracks and ambushing convoys, Russia would had run out of soldiers before Germany run out of ammo.

>a technical victory
There's no such thing in real war.
>just held the river and bombed the germans
Not just some germans, but the whole german army. And there also were large allied axis armies on its fronts that got crushed. And Stalingrad was an important logistic point on Volga. And this defeat forced germans to withdraw from Caucasus and Kuban. Yeah.

post some nice battle painting from your country
pic rel Battle of Grunwald

My favourite seige next to the first seige of Vienna

We defeated USA in Vietnam

>this entire post
Oh, so you're trolling. I guess you could've said that a bit earlier than.

>then
This might've been true, since the army was in progress of reforming in european typed organization.

...

Everyone knows that Kursk was the decisive point in the east front. Stalingrad was a meme.

...

what a mess

Gustav II Adolfs horse, Streiff at the battle of Lutzen.
(Actually it's inaccurate because Streiff was brown but w/e)
This is hands down the most embarrasing defeat in our history.

...

>killing oongas with spears is considered a great British Empire victory
Post better ones, I know there are some

...

>few days before the whole war was over
>surrender a pointless battle

OOGA BOOGA WE WON THE GREATEST BATTLE OF ALL TIMES SOPA DI MACACO FOR EVERYONE !!!!

...

...

also known as Miracle of Vistula River

the turkshit wh*Toid fears the REAL BLACK WALLACHIAN BULL

Lithuanians and Ruthenians did everything in these, just wanted to tel for everyone else in here, that Poles like to take accomplishments of others for their own they are like pseudo niggers

>friendly fire
>Japan (not present)

What they think they where shooting at?

>we wuz Northern Bulgaria n shit nigga we latin as well

Franz Roubaud Panorama Siege of Sevastopol

actually Turks can beat that
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Karánsebes

>Immediately, the hussars and infantry engaged in combat with one another. During the conflict, some infantry began shouting "Turci! Turci!" ("Turks! Turks!"). The hussars fled the scene, thinking that the Ottoman army’s attack was imminent. Most of the infantry also ran away; the army comprised Austrians, Serbs, Croats, and Italians from Lombardy, plus other minorities, many of whom could not understand each other. While it is not clear which one of these groups did so, they gave the false warning without telling the others, who promptly fled. The situation was made worse when officers, in an attempt to restore order, shouted "Halt! Halt!" which was misheard by soldiers with no knowledge of German as "Allah! Allah!".

...

Take your pick.
> Cartagena de Indias 1741
> Bicocca 1522
> Counter Armada 1589
> Otumba 1520
> Cádiz 1625
> Lepanto 1571
> Bailén 1808
> Cagayán 1582
> Cajamarca 1532

It was the turning point officially. People seen after 4 months that this will not be a quick invasion like France or Poland was, so I'm sure it was practically decided sooner than that.

...

go home poland your flag is drunk

Go home Norway, your joke is old.

nice

It was actually Monte Castelo,Sabaton even made a song.

did you have trouble drawing your flag in kindergarden?
>The situation was made worse when officers, in an attempt to restore order, shouted "Halt! Halt!" which was misheard by soldiers with no knowledge of German as "Allah! Allah!".
holy shit that's funny

...

ye

only the cross

During the siege of constantinople they had around 80k but that was the limit of the empire then. Sure they would have more in the 16th century but the territory of the empire tripled also by then so they needed more garrisons.

...

Not sure if its the greatest, but i like this one.

u mean this

i think we can only post the post-unification battles
which is kinda bad

>Halt! Halt!
lmao

>30 tanks
>130 aircraft
Those include the Swedish "volunteers"?

Every time that we have been under (((French))) command, something went wrong.

If Napoleon hadn't been so stubborn with muh Villeneuve, we would have colonies on Mars now.

Portuguese colonial campaigns were funnier, btfoing brown people while outnumbered 800 to 1.

>we would have colonies on Mars now.
pls no pedro, world is enough with Latin America.

topkek

It's funny how this triggers you so much. They lost. deal with it.

it must be done Ivan

Using brown people to BTFO other white people >BTFOing brown people

Europe's great victory over the French under Anglo-Austrian leadership.

The first virtual reality. We have something similar in Wrocław, its called Panorama racławicka. This type of paintings is quite impressive.

Offtopic - do native Maltese speakers understand anything when hearing spoken Arabic dialects (especially those from Maghreb) or Modern Standart Arabic?

Not sure if greatest, or military but fun nonetheless.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Domažlice

fucking impressive
how come Swedes are so good? like the Deluge and many others

damn again

really?

Alhamdolillah

Neat

names are pretty swedish sounding
were the Fins here Swedes?

neat

Some words, there and here. They understand us much more than we understand them, especially the Tunisians.

The Swedish history is the best proof that there is no fixed "national mantality".

Aha, thanks!

in almost every single battle or war russia loses much more soldiers and military tech than the enemy so claiming that some of those victories were "great" is just pathetic. 2bh russia is quite shit at war and it managed to win because of some outside factors (weather, allies etc) and if course because of the huge numbers of soldiers who were mercilessly used by military commanders and the government in every single war. russian military history (except for a few parts) is really pathetic

t. consumer of liberal propaganda
We were pretty great at war all the time from Ivan the Terrible to let's say Nicholas I

this, why are your poor yet brave soldiers used so mercilessly

?? didnt understand ??

sideways Poland or Indnesia?

>god of weather always win battles for ruskis
what a story mark

Ah yes.
Surely that's how the Russian Empire conquered lands from literally everyone around them

I meant that hundreds years ago Swedes were seen as fierce warriors, while today it's probably the last association anyone would have thinking about Sweden. Another example, but less striking, are the Swiss who were a nation of top-tier mercenaries in the Renaissance era (eg. the pope still has that Swiss guard).

No we weren't you filtht kremlinshill. Not everyone has to consume some particular media to see the facts and make the decisions unlike you disgusting krenlinwhore.
Also
>we
You most likely never left your whore mother's basement you useless anime-loving virgin.

Because they were forced to die basically. If it weren't for barrier troops no one would have fought for this hellhole.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrier_troops#Barrier_troops_in_the_Red_Army

Or the French who were seen as a mighty military power prior to ww2.

Those lands are mostly frozen wastelands, especially useless when no one known that there is oil under the ground, Ivan.

Of course fucking 2chtards have to come in and start sperging out.
