Saudi Q&A

I'm a Saudi user been here for few years. Wanted to do this Q&A to clarify things about my country. I will try my best in answering all as much as I can.

This thread is almost serious. Any obvious rant or jokes will be ignored. Please keep it moderate

About me: I am from South of Hejaz(West of Saudi). I am Sunni Muslim (although not strict). I live in the capital (Riyadh).

>Inb4 women have no rights
Women are gaining more rights every year and driving is one of the things they gained. You may not believe it but a woman can go anywhere unless family issues.

>Inb4 inbreeding and cousin marriage
It's actually common here and I don't fully support. It's gaining less popularity and will eventually rare hopefully.

>inb4 wahabbi scum
No I dont believe in the term Wahhabism and I am not what you call a Wahabbi

Pic is proof

How old?
Are there other saudi user?
Job?
Favorite book?

Good for you Suleiman

Have you ever driven a Toyota Landcruiser on two wheels?

What can be done to make Islam less savage?

You have English medium education?

Do you eat pork?

What they call Millenial in the west(Don't want to put real age for security reasons)

I have seen a few but none in real life

Student

Nothing favorite in particular

Wish I could try that one day, but Yes I have driven a toyota land cruiser but not on two wheels though.

In my own personal opinion, sometimes things are needed to be savage to stop a few things from occurring. But if you mean ISIS I don't see them as real Muslims and never practiced Islam the way back in the 8-10th centuries

I studied in an American based Education but also studied Arabic language and Islamic studies alongside(Because its mandatory for every Saudi citizen)

No. Not planning to for health reasons

What made you come here?

Saw some posts and memes about Sup Forums while ago. Liked its Idea and decided to give it a visit.
Got used to shitposting, liked the environment here and became redpilled by Sup Forums. Voila I became a part of this community.

Also there isn't many Saudis here and if there was it isn't the type that I dislike

I used to live in SA, but I was too young at the time to remember anything. How are Christians treated there? How are Filipinos perceived?

I sincerely love Middle Eastern history, but the current political climate makes it difficult to find peers that share interests.

What do you do there for work?

Funny enough. Saudi Arabia is the only country in the middle east with rising trend of christians. Every where else its dropping.

How good is the economy in there?

Is it easy to find a job as a young professional?

How much does an average house cost in the capital?

In which fields do westerners work? And do they mix with the locals?

>Sup Forums redpilled saudi
lmao

Heh i've been here only since last October ahah
>redpilled by Sup Forums.
Like, how? What stuff did you recognize? Their topics are totally anti-Islamic right? Isn't it uncomfy to be there?

Christians are treated fairly same by people. I have learned with a few Christian teachers and we basically became friends.
Filipinos and any other foreigners are treated fairly by everyone and most Filipinos come here to work in lower Jobs so they are seen as inferior by some because they think they are not Saudi like them and you work in lesser Job than me. Pretty much only arrogants treat them like this.

>Women are gaining more rights every year
fuck :(

Ever witness a stoning or an execution?

Right now the Economy is struggling and its not much of Jobs you can find here as the government employs more Saudis in Jobs filled with foreigners

Foreigners can't own Real Estate but a single apartment varies from 4000-10000 dollars a year. Of course, an European foreigner like you would get a highly paid Jobs because many think they are overqualified.

Europeans mostly work in Oil fields, business or Education. Many of them live in compounds and a few just live in a regular apartment and mix with locals

Yemen?

Never as executions rarely happens and stoning isn't even a thing now. Mostly because it applies to married people only who perform adultery according to sharia and anyone who would do that would travel to Morocco or UAE.

300 Kilometers south of Mecca.

You get used to the uncomfy stuff. I recognize anti-islam stuff and some are actually true regarding ISIS, but things that I see as a total BS I basically ignore them.

Most stuff that I got redpilled about are MSM and "Jews run the world". I see some of them as genuine because most of the MSM is owned by Jewish companies.

Are the four Madhabs allowed and are there people who practice those beliefs or are most people salafi?

How common are long beards?
Are there any cultural differences between Hejaz, Nejd, Asir, Najran? Is the Eastern Shia area anything like the rest of the country?

Do migrant workers who are Muslim get to leave their jobs for Hajj?

How often do you see men married to teenagers? How often do you see men married to younger girl children?

Why do all of you wear friggin mustaches.

Is there any Saudi music at all? Or is it so repressed by the religious police. Do you have pop singers and radio station?

Thx user, hopefully i'd like to travel in your country, good night

What about floggings then?
Also, I once read somewhere that despite there being severe punishments for consuming drugs or alcohol, it's actually pretty easy to get your hands on illicit substances on the black market. Any truth to that?

Saudi Arabia is some dark ages savagery from the pepective of civilized countries.
One could think you will reach some level of social development with all that free monies from oil but your are still like medieval camel herders.

How come?

Why Arabs can't defeat Israel?

Why we call you Arabs but majority is not even Arab?

Do you think the world would be a better place if SA didn’t exist?
Was about to say you are alright but of course the Muslim only goes on Sup Forums for the anti Jew shit

>Are the four Madhabs allowed and are there people who practice those beliefs or are most people salafi?
The government wouldn't care less about your madhab. As long as it doesn't threaten security and you identify as a Muslim then it's fine to them. Most people are salafi and the Education only teaches this belief.

>How common are long beards?
Not so common although it's notable among people. Only heavily religious people grow them.

>Are there any cultural differences between Hejaz, Nejd, Asir, Najran?
The main difference is the accent and the dress for few parts. However, things have been assimilated into just only as Saudi and every urban area looks closely similar

> Is the Eastern Shia area anything like the rest of the country?
Just to put that in mind, the Shias are a minority in the whole of the eastern province. From the outside, their ares look exactly same to any other Saudi city. They dress same and talk in a kinda different accent. They have different mosques and you can find propaganda posters commonly.

>Do migrant workers who are Muslim get to leave their jobs for Hajj?
Yes. It's also paid

How often do you see men married to teenagers?
Never. It was common back then like 60 years ago since my Grandma married as a teenager. Now it is not common and illegal and you can end up to 7 years in jail

How often do you see men married to younger girl children?
Never also. And it's also illegal and you can end up to 7 years in jail

>Why do all of you wear friggin mustaches.
They see it as an alpha male feature

>Is there any Saudi music at all?
Oh there's a lot of it and has many fans and many concerts (Believe it or not)

>Or is it so repressed by the religious police
It was back then but the government kinda minimized their power

Do you have pop singers and radio station?
Yes, we do. And I listen to them sometimes. Its all in English btw

Are you rich?? If so, Show me your wealth

My grandmother got married when she was 16. :(

>No. Not planning to for health reasons

we eat pork yet we have the highest life expectancy in the western world

Flogging is mandatory for people who abuse the law for consuming drugs or alcohol if been caught by police

Culture. We stick to our culture. Some see westerners as degenerate animals who are all about sex and lust. Point of view matters

Israel is heavily supported by the West and They would do anything to ensure its existence in my opinion

It goes on different ways (Saudi modern day) Yes because it's only about division and monarchy rule (Saudi historically) No. The world would remain in the dark ages and would miss many scientific achievements.
Also, its not only Anti-Jew shit other stuff too but I was mentioning it as an example. But that's not the point of the thread

Abdul, do you own any indonesian sex slave disguise as maid?

Nah. The stereotype isn't true for everyone. but we live above the poverty line. Believe it or not I drive a car made in your country (Thanks for it btw)

>Some see westerners as degenerate
We have the freedom to give people to do with their lifes what they want to.
You rather deny this to your people by beheading them if they try to make own decision and not state/Islam dictated ones.

Also what do Arabs even do with all theur oil money besides paying prostitues million to shit on them? I don't know one thing remarkable for Saudi Arabia excepot for cutting hands for thievery. Do people even strive for excelence in SA or is this also just prohibited in Shariah?

No I don't

They're right.

dont lie Abdul, here in this Allah forsaken shithole, every wymmin loves Big Arabic Cock, you know them wymmin had Araboo or someshit.
Pan-Islamism when?

The thing is that's not my opinion. Thats what I conclude from people I know who comment on the west. They see civilization as people who obey a certain thing and doesn't live freely like an animal(Not my opinion)

What does the average saudi hate more, christians or atheists?

What car?

What do you think of your duty to Djihad?

I would say atheists. they see christians as people of the book. Same good same prophets and similar ideologies. Atheists are kinda more anti-Islam and some are ex-muslims which is a big sin in Islam

How is life like in Riyadh?

Hyundai. Korean cars are very common here in Saudi and make up a large proportion of motor market here.

Everyone has a duty to Jihad. For people, country, Ideologoy, et cetra...

Its similar to any urban city but more religion and mosques. I would say it's like Muslim LA
