Rich people are evil: the movie

Rich people are evil: the movie

How do you even get this interpretation from the movie?
Its the story of how a few autist managed to make a lot of money on a massive misjudgment of Wall Street. Pointing out how a form of mania made the markets massively miscalculate.
The book was much more critical of the rich if anything

nope, try again

Nope, the only guy in the movie with a 'I'm Jewish'
line is a literal hero.
He is disgusted with everything and tries to fix everything even though he takes millions of dollars

The 'inside job' documentary on neetflix is 10 times better than this movie

No you're wrong. Every movie can be boiled down to calling a certain group evil, usually white men.

rich people do rich people things: the movie

He's the movie in a nutshell: wants to take a moral high ground but doesn't have any clue about how to describe anything that anyone has done wrong.

I mean why include the part about the stripper who bought five houses, and boohoo now she'll have to have bad credit for seven whole years? Jesus Christ.

They are indeed you stupid drumpfag.
Your beloved Bible say it too DEUS VULT XD

The bible does not say rich people are evil.

Didn't you whine about this movie yesterday op?

No it just says they can't get in to heaven.
Source: read the fucking bible

>watched this literally yesterday
It was pretty good for a Docu-Drama. Pirates of Silicon Valley is still GOAT though

>It's easier for a rich man to pass through the eye of a needle than to enter heaven.

>tips fedora*

>le camel needle

King James V isn't canon

I got the impression that the inclusion was to show how people taking the loans out were retarded and their retardation played a part in the issue, but that their retardation was enabled by the people giving them loans. Pretty sure we're not meant to feel bad for the stripper, in the scene Steve Carrell is perturbed by her admission to having multiple houses and her ignorance of what will occur to her interest rates.

how
fucking
convenient

>Pretty sure we're not meant to feel bad for the stripper

Oh, that confirms that it's a worthless film then. The situation was created by the lenders. Nobody grows up thinking you can get unsecured loans, the only reason anyone began thinking that was being told it by these guys. You think people shouldn't try to do as much with their lives as they think they can get away with? If this is just a "you shouldn't have wanted so much" fingerwag, however liberal it makes itself out to be (and "know your place" is usually a "liberal" message in America), then it's not going to have anything worth hearing to say about the crisis.

You don't get to take your toys or gold to Heaven

You seem pretty butthurt. Did you(r parents) take out a loan you(they) couldn't afford like a retard and then get evicted?

Didn't you watch Margot Robbie's explanation?

That scene where Brad Pitt character explains to one of Ryab Murphy's cockholsters how the more money they make the more people......DIE! This shit was written and directed by SNL's head writer? Hahaha

How is it worthless? Even if she was introduced the movie has a slant towards banks being the ultimate boogeymen.

How can you watch the movie and not get that kind of interpretation? Steve Carrell even moans about how the big guys will get away with everything leaving the little guy fucked.

The real weakness of the movie is not really touching on the role that the central bank played (or didn't play) and the policies of Clinton and Bush. From what I remember anyway.

I really don't get why you're so sympathetic to speculators like the stripper. The whole housing bubble and the financial derivatives arising from it was fueled by greedy house flippers. People got fucking rich doing it.

It was more about how even in elite jobs people are brainlet shiples and don't know what the hell are they actually doing, belive in bullshit things (while being most tippiest fedora atheists at the same time, irony) and it leds to cathastrophy. Kinda sums up all mcucks (hell, why Margot Robbie is unexpectedly here, an atcress from DC's capeflick that wins Oscar next year for HER make-up), but any group of people that goes with the flow actually

Also notice how this movie about stupid elite that crushes simple people's lives AROUND THE WHOLE WORLD because of their stupidity and all of them got away with it lost in Oscar to movie aout Catholic molesters. It's another meta.

You just need to look deeper, OP.

T. Warner Bros exec

wtf i hate Hector now

>Fast and Furious
>WB (uno half flicks half kinoes company)
What did he mean by that?

It's almost as if you've seen the movie and have have aome capability for thought, unlike the rest of Sup Forums.

user is an Arteur Theory shill who thinks movies don't need producers or studios and that every film should be like boyhood and premier at Sundance
