after boomers all die off im pretty sure any form of decency law on the books is gonna get thrown out the window and were just gonna have full frontal interracial penetration playing in theatres

They're just going to do everything over on a 10 or 15 year cycle from here on out. They get you once when you're a dumb teen who doesn't know better and again when you're a dumb 30 something who has money and nostalgia for when you were a dumb teen. After that you're out of the target demographic and they repeat the cycle on a new batch of consumers. Popular consumer art is at its apex.

China is holding off the degeneracy. It's really a double edged sword.

Going back to generic action drivel

animal torture threads are now a regular thing on Sup Forums

Probably this.

Sexy Witch movies havent been fully exploited yet, that needs to change.

i think video game movies and live remakes of anime movies are the most likely options

Injecting politics into reboots and capeshit as a last ditch effort to generate interest.

This makes sense in a way but there have been quite a few of both and nearly all of them have sucked and many have lost money.

You're correct about targeting demographics, but there is a reason for all of this rebooting and cape shit. The biggest target right now are millennials. People born from 1982 - 2002 are the biggest generation ever, even bigger than the boomers. If companies are smart, they aren't going to shift to another generation that's smaller. Look at all the shit that they're making movies about, it's focused on the nostalgia of Millennials, and to a lesser extend Boomers. That's why you see older movies getting remade too, they're trying to hit both of the largest generations.

So while you are correct that the cycle repeats itself, it'll still be targeted at Millennials. Boomers will have died off by then and media directed at future generations probably won't have that large of an impact.

Capeshit had a cold start too, with stuff like Steel or the Fantastic 4. Hollywood isn't going to let all those succulent IP go unexploited

Anime adaptations.
