Suicide Squad was far from a 10, but it's nowhere near as bad as the new Spider-Man is going to be. When that comes out I will probably just watch DC flicks, since I don't care as much about the characters it bothers me less if I only think the movie is "decent"

I'm not a big Spider-Man fan, but I didn't have much of a problem with him in Civil War (even if I thought the movie sucked).
I personally like Man of Steel, LOVE Batman v Superman, and enjoyed the Suicide Squad for what it was. I wasn't expecting much from it and it exceeded my expectations.

Just came back from watching it with friends, and desu its not worst than your average Bayformers movie, i actually liked it better than BvS, i wish they could've done more with the Squad itself rather than all these weird retarded editing showed us.

If we're being literal here and not just abusing words (like idiots who use redundant phrases like "main protagonist" to refer to the protagonist), "bad" is not a measurable value by which we can make absolute judgments from. It's a subjective quality derived from what you believe makes a good film. Now, this movie looks like shit to me from a film-making AND enjoyability standpoint, but both of those things are respectively based on a subjective standard or inherently subjective. If you want to say something truly objective about the film, you could say that it was put together according to test screen reactions -- and that's a fact you can't argue since WB has come out with it.

I wouldn't say the movie is terrible, it's just average.
It suffered from two things:
1. Casting Will Smith, pretty much made the entire movie revolve around him. Which usually I wouldn't mind, except for the fact that Deadshot is a boring character.
2. The plot was pretty much standard capekino plot.
