How much would it cost to have Frakes do a 1-hour concert in one's home?

There is no monetary price big enough - however if you're willing to give up something of great importance, your anal virginity per-say...

What's wrong with the promenade?

>AAAAAAAHHHHHHH I CAN'T STAND IT, I KNOW YOU PLANNED IT, BUT I'M GONNA SET IT STRAIGHT, THIS WATERGATE, something something something, LISTEN ALL OF Y'ALL IT'S A SABOTAGE, LISTEN ALL OF Y'ALL IT'S A SABOTAAAAAAAGE!

I'm not gay but I'd let him

I like this meme

>finally a thread without Sup Forumsfags shitting it up
>finally a thread without anyone pretending SJWs didn't make Star Trek
is this the good universe?

OBSESSED

You've jinxed it.

Just some thoughts about the new Discovery trailer
It looks and feels super actiony, but I guess trailers are going to be like that and I can't fault them even if it looked horrobly generic.
I have no idea why they carved a big logo into the ground. That seems odd.
Transporter effect and warping in effects look neat.
Explosing consoles are still ludicrous
I'm actually kind of hoping that they have a constitution class and it doesn't look 1:1 with the classic series. Like in Enterprise when they had the USS defiant for the mirrorverse episode, it was cool as hell to see it recreated, but it was still a little jarring. I'm hoping in Discovery we see a constitution class or similar, but while still recognizably being it inside and out it looks a bit modern so it's like "this is what our artstyle is and we're being consistent," and that if Discovery had been made in the 60s then it would too look like the TOS enterprise. I don't know if that makes sense or what, but I think it would be better if they made it a "we have huge buget" thing and not a "this is an in universe design thing"

Oh hey, I'm a Sup Forumsfag who hates SJWs. I wasn't going to bring it up, but... aw nuts, I'll just leave it be.

It's already ruined ->

I like how they made a Mary Sue the main character

>Siege of AR-558
Oh hey it's tuco salamanca

God I'm hoping so badly that the show is good, or at least has a few really good episodes, but every time something looks decent something else looks bad

Hopefully the ep directed by Riker will be good

I'd imagine they are going to go full GoT, TWD, HoC (the list goes on) in pacing and style. I just hope they make a decent story arc for the first season so it doesn't end like Enterprise 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Post dream team

Captain: Dukat
First officer: Data
Ship's counselor: Sarek
Chief of Engineering: Spock
Chief of Security: Garak
Chief Medical: McCoy
Chief Harlot: Seven

...

...

The SJWs who made Star Trek would be considered conservative today.

Also, the Federation is just a trust fund baby's impossible vision of "lol gommunism."

Brent spiner playing every different crew member

I would say they are more miss or miss, they were all pretty shit, First Contact is the only one that was adrift, but salvagableheh...

Tough little movie

>no loli Keiko on the love boat

It's technically not even pedophilia.

How is the federation communist?
Seriously.

>the false rape allegation Voyager episode
I'm surprised this episode hasn't had some clickbait tier hate article about it

Captain: Miles O Brian
First Officer: Gowron
Ship's counselor: Rom
Chief of engineering: Kira
Chief of security: Kirk
Chief medical: Garak
Chief whore: Tasha Yar (rape gang RP only on Saturdays)

>JUST ANOTHER MANIC MONDAY....OHH..WOH...I WISH IT WERE A SUNDAYY..'CUZ THAT'S MY FUN DAYYY...OHH.. WOHH!!

Hahahaha, good one.

>female character does anything
>is a mary sue
I mean come on, it's probably not going to be good, but it's not even out yet. Stop using fucking buzz words. Just say what you want and stop pretending you have actual complaints about the characters yet: "I like how they made a woman of a different race than me the main character, and I dislike this character because she is a different race and is a woman because I can't possibly know what she does in the actual show beyond walk around and say a couple of shitty lines of dialogue.".

I still don't understand how currency works. Picard makes it pretty clear to the 20th century businessman that they've moved beyond currency but it's obvious that it's possible to make a profit in a successful business.

It's like they like claiming they're communist because it sounds nice but they're obviously socialist.

>spock's adopted sister
>trained on Vulcan and some kind of pseudo-vulcan super-human logical genius
>press releases already talking about how she makes a decision that changes the fate of the Galaxy
kek, try again

on Earth they moved past
every planet works in different ways

ah yes dukat has an "evil" cult that wears arm bands

hmmm yes very subtle ira

Clicked the wrong post. Here's your (you).

trekkiefeminist.tumblr.com/post/60704067259/voy-4x17-retrospect

Oh?

On Earth people open restaurants because they feel like it. On Andoria they stab each other with ice picks.

Reminder that TOS > TNG > DS9 > ENT > VOY

And that the best movie is The Voyage Home.

>ywn watch a full episode of Riker

Now would you look at that... lel

Eat that fucking leaf, William

Japanese student council members?

So what did they use for this scene as stand-in for Klingon food?

...

probably because it's neither communism or socialism and there isn't a real life equivalent

octopus
beats in some sort of cheese/custard
bottom thing looks like ginger or pork fat
unsure on the middle thing
right looks like a bowl of sick

Looks like an octopus, some beets in gravy, some ginger slathered in olive oil, and tabouleh topped with albacore sashimi.

>not eating the gagh live
Riker confirmed for pleb

Do you think they felt any pain?

...

Well, considering that they were screaming...

>literally screaming in pain

Does anyone else get hungry during this scene? The crunchy things especially look good. And the weird shrimp cocktail looking thing he offers Picard.

Maybe they were already dead and the sounds were just their mishapen hunks of flesh making noises.

Yeah, dude. Klingon food looks rad. But we're not getting the smells, so it'd probably actually suck both in-universe and for the actors.

The transporter operator on the other end says that they were still alive... for a brief period of time.

I do. I absolutely love this episode.

no they were alive, they state they died in extreme pain or something moments after being transported back on Earth

all because Kirk was in a hurry because he wanted to be back in space with "his" Enterprise

Sorry, made a mistake here, she doesn't make a decision that changes the galaxy. She makes a decision that "affects her, affects Starfleet, affects the Federation; it affects the entire UNIVERSE."

>Captian: Sisko
First officer: Garak
Ship's counselor: Neelix
Chief of Engineering: O'brian
Chief of Security: Worf
Chief Medical: The Doctor
Chief Harlot: Odo

I would still quite like to make a compilation video of all of odo's grunts, grumbles and various sounds

>The food Worf was eating in Masks

It's one of my favorites all around, not just because of Riker chowing down like Henry the fucking 8th.

>[inquisitive grunt]
>[interrogative grunt]
>[dismissive grunt]
[affectionate grunt]

And Picard never did that with the Borg?

why do people say enterprise sucks? i just started it and it's pretty good

[grunts with disdain for Ferengi]

If you said Janeway maybe I'd agree, she seemed to wreck the Borg almost entirely. Picard just stopped one Borg-ball by going back in time and let Hugh live which only seemed to have minor lasting effects. Git gud.

Were his ingredients bad or was he just bad at cooking?

idk. I liked it. Seems like it'll be better than Discovery is going to be.

Picard decided against wiping out the borg, maybe you should watch Star Trek before commenting in this thread.

It alienated most of the core fan base at the time by trying to be different. Eventually they jettisoned that and tried to make it more Trek like in season 4 but it was too late and got cancelled.

It wasn't my favourite but I didn't hate it by any means.

people had better standards back then
DS9 was still fresh in their memories

someone recently here said they were going to make a compilation of all of sisko's weird sounds he makes like "AAAAYEEEEEE"

the theme song was terrible

DS9 was shit, senpai. Just like the show it ripped off, Babylon 5.

Wang ingredients

Worf also liked that pasta Geordi made, but he hated because the DS9 replicators were playing up

It's been a long road getting from there to here. It's been a long time.

Ingredients. You legit cannot ruin the taste of an egg just by cooking it in the way he did.

He said it was an omelette but those are clearly scrambled eggs. Looked pretty good t b h

>completely wiping out a species based in the Delta Quadrant
wew

>expecting Data and Geordi's afternoon science project to be able to wipe out a race with transdimensional capabilities
that episode was stupid to begin with

*takes off your clothes and starts rubbing you with decontamination gel*

yeah dude that chick is super fucking hot

Only series to see every single main character naked or in their underwear at least once. Boldly go...

Heh heh heh...

how?

When you're worth 8 billion dollars, you can comment on how other people look

She's severely dehydrated and probably doesn't each much, while simultaneously working out a lot.

She swings from anorexic to female body builder

i thought working out was supposed to make you look good?

Damn she look like Geordi and that woman when they were being transformed into the chameleon people with all the veins.

I'd honestly fuck that.

Was it pride that kept the Federation from joining the Dominion? They L I T E R A L L Y did nothing wrong.

So, what's the most powerful known species in Star Trek, in terms of raw fleet power and controlled space? Is it the Borg?

Andorian pressure groups who favored the status quo kept the Fed from voting on it. So Starfleet, without new orders to stand down, just carried on fighting the war
