If by "people" you mean "Sup Forums" then it doesn't matter, viewership from that demographic is insignificant.

but most flash fags want a musical crossover
That shit comes up all the time in the live threads

Not sure what you thought would happen, honestly I thought the quality dropped after season 2 of Arrow.

Yeah, but it's such a butchering to turn superheroes into singing pansies and fudgepackers to appease people who've never read a comic.

>>people complain

Sup Forums doesn't count.

...

It's pretty great, I know.

I fucking hate when they shoehorn gays into this stuff. They're proving Wertham right.

Reddit changed their Arrow subreddit to a Daredevil subreddit and if you on there now its nothing but shitposting

>Musicals are a Tumblr thing now

Pandering to Tumblr only fucked the show when it fucked up all the characters and the writing went WAY downhill.

So basically every singers a pansy?

Look at the Facebook comments after every piece of news regarding the shows.

I want to see a musical episode where a villain's singer is on Nick Cave's levels of edginess (not an insult in this case)

When people say pandering to Tumblr, do they mean the introduction of minorities and homosexual characters or is there more to it?

The community isn't even so bad, just very self aware

I think he meant that a musical ep would mean a further drop in quality.

Fuck you, I would love a Music Meister episode for the Flash, especially if they got NPH to play the role.

I think they mean how Arrow became less about Arrow and more about Felicity.

>musicals and gays are tumblr

What's wrong about a musical episode?

It's a gimmick episode, shows are bound to have those once in a while. Shit, in a lot of shows the gimmick episodes end up being the most memorable ones, even if you can tell that it's just the cast wanting to do something different and hang out.

Scrubs, Buffy and Community's musical episodes were pretty great and fun. Not to mention Brave and the Bold. It's more of a TV thing than a superhero thing.

Not musicals in general. But the musicals we've been getting for the past 30 or so years which have been progressive and effeminate af and effectively turned it into a genre you only gravitate toward as a gay, numale, or woman.

>Look ma, I'm projecting!

Because it doesn't fit the superhero genre.

youtube.com/watch?v=K2p02DfyzCE

Also, Scrubs and Community are comedies.

Who's worse: SJWs or Sup Forumstards?

>doesn't fit the genre
Well yeah, comic books are sound-less. But it sure sounds fucking better than the teenage relationship drama they keep regurgitating every single episode.

Also, why not try it? It's not like the shows are that great to begin with, so maybe it ends up fitting. Who knows? As long as they can justify it with the story by using music meister or something like Scrubs, there's nothing wrong with it on principle.

Sjws. Sup Forums didn't complain as much before sjws were a thing.

>But the musicals we've been getting for the past 30 or so years which have been progressive and effeminate af and effectively turned it into a genre you only gravitate toward as a gay, numale, or woman.

So basically a musical featuring gay men, hipsters, and women are tumblr pandering.

Nice to know.

SJWs are a reaction, Sup Forums is a reaction of said reaction. Bot hare god awful and does no board any good.

But at least it's easy to ward away SJWs by telling them they're not welcome. Sup Forums keeps on coming back.

Both are just as deluded, reactionary and show the same persecution complex.

>Oh no, something that doesn't agree with my views? They're attacking us! We must speak against it and fight!

>Which is worse: Heads or Tails?

I'd rather not

When's the last time Sup Forums succeeded in censoring something?

Not using them for the cinematic univers was a mistake.

Idk man I've read most of Wallys run and I kinda want to see a musical episode of the flash. And it's not like the show takes it self too seriously anyway, with the whole "speed force is god" and reality jumping gorillas shit.

At least Sup Forums is willing to carry out conversation on a hong kong spoon collecting board.

>source: Sup Forumstard

The CW shows are fairly comedic too, Arrow aside (which tries so hard but it's only funny to laugh at it now.) Also Scrubs had plenty of heavy drama moments.

>At least Sup Forums is willing to carry out conversation

I wouldn't really call cuckposting much of a conversation, desu

>implying a significant number of Sup Forumsmrades weren't asking for a musical themed episode

It's not the tumblr pandering we complained about alone, it's the inability to write believable or likeable rlmantic relationships and the absolutely shoddy setting building that just namedrops random shit to see what sticks.

Yeah, Tumblr ships the fuck out of Olicity and that's one of the main problems with Arrow, but there's a lot if other issues with the shows besides "too many feelings and gay people".

>tfw you've given up on Arrow, are deep into S2 Flash and still enjoying it, watching Supergirl on the summer rebroadcast and am finding it pleasant, and am excited for the musical episode
Stay salty, Sup Forums. You're becoming more like Sup Forums every day.

>I'm afraid the gays are spending their free time plotting how to find me at home and go in dry

Why do all musicals have to feature gay men, hipsters, and stronk wymyn? Why can't there be musicals about men being men, about nobility and virtue? There are operas about those things

Also, nice moving goalposts, you mongoloid.

KARA IS CUTE

>Musicals are a drop in quality

Go watch BvS if you want terrible edgy shit you fag.

KEEP THE PARTY GOIN

Oh shit, its time for the Music Meister. Hopefully with NPH back in the role.

Only gay i saw in these shows was White Canary.

>At least Sup Forums is willing to carry out conversation.
>conversation

Mr. Terrific is as well, but
>watching Arrow after S3

Because opera is manly as fuck.

youtube.com/watch?v=dK1_vm0FMAU

Had to google, i couldn't believe my eyes.

SJW
Sup Forums is consistant and has no real power

>I no longer have the natural instinct to be revolted by faggots because of my atrophied amygdala

Sorry, lad. Supposedly he's going to have a bigger role this season.

>But at least it's easy to ward away SJWs by telling them they're not welcome

found the Sjew

>I get upset over people preferring Coke when I prefer Pepsi

>Sup Forums has no real power
>he doesn't know about meme magic

Fuck dammit, why is Sup Forums going full Sup Forums on this?
Just wait for the damn episode to air and then shit on it, not before the season even began
Even Arrow S4 got some hype before it began ffs

>two gay leads and a female lead
>endless soap opera to fill time
>people still haven't realized what comic books are

no 'REAL' power memer

youtube.com/watch?v=fAFP0IoMfsA
riiiight

It's fucking over.

Do you honestly believe that musicals are for straight men?
out of the closet with you.

did /pol rape your mom user?

because musicals are shit to begin with.
on the other hand the ratings will bomb, so maybe it's a good thing.

>I'm uncomfortable watching men sing and dance because it makes me question my sexuality
You first, user.

I hope you're not talking shit about based Len Cariou

He is. And Gene Kelly.

youtube.com/watch?v=5RgR0-EWuNY
:)

To be fair, Jazz makes everything better.

Dunno where they came up with the melody or the lyrics, but sure.

Also, that's way too saucy for a cartoon.

The "comics are like soap operas" argument doesn't really work, except for maybe stuff like X-men or LoSH.

Where did user say that?

...

7 Brides for 7 Brothers is a great musical about mountain men physically abducting single women to make them mountain brides. Good times.

...

Because it's summer. Don't act like that's not a valid reason for extra Sup Forums stupidity.

>not adoring the music meister episode of brave and the bold
Get rekt

>because musicals are shit
how so? cape stuff should not be all serious, theres room in a 20-something season for a comedic episode
oh wait, I remembered that dancing and singing is only for faggots, right?

I don't know, I fucking love musical and I'm bi. So maybe there is some truth behind it.

I've performed in and love musicals and I'm straight.
InB4 "Are you?"
There is no truth in it at all. The only people who think that way are folks either in high school, or who never outgrew their high school thinking.

Why do you want the ratings to suck?

Because if they don't like it no one else can.

Except the people who like it.

>wants men to be men
>watches anime

Meh I'll stick to agents of shield.

>literally didn't read any of Johns on GL

Yeah I fucking hate that

>not wanting a musical episode

youtube.com/watch?v=IAQqhJyFvQs

>Browsing reddit ever for anything not porn related.
Downvoted my friend.

...

Hopefully he replaces Felicity and they get rid of that bitch

No that's just the Sup Forumsumblr Anons, real Flash fans dont give care since the show has already dropped in quality after S1.

Those types of episodes are always the best from Supernatural at least

>cast a bunch of singers for your lighthearted dramedy
>but don't let them sing!
Anyone upset that they're finally going to do a musical episode is an outright idiot.

Because no one has ever sung in a comic book before, nor has anyone been gay.

>m-muh butthurt pol obsession!
Kill yourself.

Buzzwords aside, I see what you mean. Glee and the like are quite different from Bollywood, or say Hail, Caesar!'s musical segments. Even Disney feels different despite both modern shows and disney movies having the general same tone/theme to their lyrics.

Excuse you for thinking I'll deny myself pleasure cos of some weird redneck hangups
>singing, dancing, and the theatre are perfectly fine to enjoy
>but put them together? NO DAS GUEY
